I am actually glad he is not coming to the Premier League and makes a rival or disliked club even stronger.
Should they all be happy walking through the league in France.

Messi and Ramos in the same side is quite the thing. This window has been a bit like fantasy footy for Poch. Some aging stars there, but good for him. He'll want CL footy to get cracking so he can really test their mettle twice a week against domestic and euro opponents.

Aren't Barca's lawyers looking at stopping this and getting a look into PSG's finances or something? I think there's more to this to come.

As much as it is morally wrong to have City/PSG running amok, it is rather amusing to have Barca (or its fans) in a strop because if they can't do it, no one should be allowed to

Irony being that there's no money in La Liga because Real/Barca did their utmost to make it as uncompetitive and boring as possible for the last few decades.

Poch just has to keep the team healthy until next spring, when their season really starts.

You would have thought the king of free transfers paratici would have had a decent go at this one. He was basically sucking himself off after he engineered the Ronaldo to Juventus move

I don´t think they have any ground as he is a free agent and not contractually tied to Barca anymore in any way
It was nothing to do with Barcelona signing him, more how PSG can do it under FFP or something. I only skim read something the other day, so wasn't sure if anyone else heard/knew about the details.

Yes, I have read that Barca believe that PSG are in contempt of FFP more than they are, and that’s before Messi

Our dream is still alive

Such a sad and disappointing destination for him, but totally predictable. He's never had the drive of Ronaldo. That unadulterated desire to prove to the world that he is the best. Shame he didn't go to the Prem or to Serie A.

I can't see a world where people wouldn't want to see how Messi and Ronaldo would play together in the same team.

I personally have little interest in seeing Neymar/Mbappe/Messi tear it up against Troyes and Reims on a wet winter's eve.

exactly. And that is why it is such a disappointing and boring transfer. This is Lionel Messi! This should be a sensational transfer, but it's just not.

A totally 'Meh' move.

if Messi loved Barcelona THAT much he would have played on for peanuts. Instead he’s moved his entire family from Spain because the guy needed €25m a year. His tearful press conference was a load of BS if you ask me. You love the club so much, the club who made you a multi millionaire and you don’t want to leave nor shift your family, then play for next to nothing for a year… but no… go grab your oil money

Disappointed how you set up the "Mehssi" but didn't swing for it :grumpy:
