Air BnB?

I’m waiting to hear if I can have the Friday and Monday off. If so then we’re going to drive. Stay somewhere south of France on the Friday night then head to Madrid.

Zeelo are doing coaches aswell.
We’re looking at driving and staying in zaragoza Friday. Return train to Madrid is about £50 and only takes an hour or so

might be interested in the stadium, but depends if people will be sitting down as I'll not see the screens:cautious:

that is so tempting, my problem is being back home by 8 O'clock on the Monday morning

You’ll miss it when you’re up all night getting pissed.

Yeah a lot of seats don't have a good view of the screens. I'm near the back of the south stand, the north stand screens are obscured by the roof and the south stand ones are too much of an acute angle. It's OK for replays but not the whole match.

This is my only concern. Otherwise i’m All over this and fair play to the club for putting it on.

I’ll spend a lot on the day of the Final. Much rather that money goes to the club.

Might do a boxpark. Can't be looking up at screens

I don't understand why they wouldn't just put some big screens on the pitch. Watching the whole match on one of those screens is going to be hell from alot of the stadium.

I know the club are proud of them but hopefully they'll see sense and put screens on the pitch.

Not sure about watching such a huge game on those screens though. Really not ideal.

Plus will we be able to drink in our seat? If not, that ruins it

Might just stay at home and have a BBQ going with some mates around and watch on TV in comfort. Seems better than queuing for everything and standing up trying to balance food and drink whilst somehow eating at the same time. Also for the cost of travel etc., can have some real food and quality wine. Watching screens seems daft whether in Tottenham or Madrid. I have been abroad when WC or Euro championships have been on and enjoyed the experience but was there for other reasons. Not going to pay crazy money for just being in the same city as the match.

Fuck that. I’d rather the money go to the local businesses.

All that has been announced is they are screening it at the ground, right? Nothing about how exactly. I'd imagine they would have screens on the pitch, or set it up like a stage and fans stand on the pitch watching. Who knows at the moment? Just glad we get to experience the biggest match (in my lifetime) at our new stadium.

If enough people let the club know it might happen. Comment on the twitter thread

Love this idea but it really rests on them putting screens on the pitch.

The view of the screens from my seat absolutely suck. I can only imagine how bad it is for the poor ****s who sit behind me

They could use the screens in the concourses too, no? Anyone off to get drinks/food can still watch and plenty around.

Says on the website that it "will be shown on our four giant HD screens within the stadium bowl"

Surely they could roll out the NFL pitch, put down some sort of cover on it, and erect a massive screen in front of park lane? have the stands and pitch full of fans? Now that would be class.

This is brilliant of the club to put this on. It sounds like watching on the big screens won't be ideal, but the atmosphere should be brilliant. I'm not a member so I doubt I'll get a ticket for it. To be honest I'd probably enjoy it more watching it at home with a few beers and a curry as I'll be too nervous on the day to enjoy going to a game on my own.
