There we go...the suicide mission begins.

Levy, just no. Stop him. Stop him now and call LVG and promise him lots of money to sign a pre-contract.

Do it now...please...I beg you...please....please.

I was always sceptical about Jake, but he has come on nicely at Hull, partly as a result of being given both more responsibility and more freedom. (I am told that under AVB the instructions he played to did not involve him crossing the halfway line.)

As a midfielder he is one of those with no particular strengths or particular weaknesses; in other words he can perform all aspects of the midfielder's job adequately but unspectacularly, which given the quotes from Tim and Les is presumably what they looking for in their system; someone in fact a bit like Tim in his playing days (though I doubt he will ever actually be that good).

Jake also has character and will follow instructions (even those he does not particularly like, see above). I am pretty sure he would have put in a more competitive and disciplined shift against City than did any of our midfielders on the day. My assumption would be that if he is being recalled that it is as an immediate upgrade on Bentaleb, and by immediate I mean he is seen as being more capable than the player Bentaleb is now, if not necessarily the better prospect in the medium term.

Knee jerks inbound.

It's bizarre to say the least, but it is absolutely pathetic seeing things like "Tim Sherwood needs to f*ck off" "Sherwood out" etc.

Whatever happened to getting behind the manager? He recalls a player who does very well at Hull and suddenly he's the spawn of satan?

I doubt anyone here has anything against Livermore. Personally quite like him.
But in preference to Holtby/Capoue/Sandro etc etc etc?

Seriously?

You said it............player who does very well at Hull. Nuff said.

All the time this is happening (if true) then Tim, Levy et al are going to suffer abuse.

Is it not possible that he has been recalled as we have a deal on the table to sell, or maybe we are looking to force Hull to buy now and at a higher price than the terms of the original loan agreement.

First of all... It's the fucking Daily Mail.

And even if it is true; think about it! Dembélé was subbed yesterday because of an injury. If he is injured together with Sandro and Paulinho we hardly have any fit central midfielders. Recalling Livermore would be the right thing to do, if it's possible, I don't know what the rules are.

Too sensible. Let the kids throw their toys about for a bit.

Who stops Levy though? It's got to the point where I don't trust anyone at the club to make a sound fucking decision about anything.

Half our squad are central midfielders.

Surely getting a centre back would be a more logical move than recalling Jake?

Year long loans that involve a fee for the loan are not subject to recalls
So we could recall if we didn't make Hull pay a fee for the loan, or if we inserted a clause saying that we can recall him?

Either way it doesn't make much sense especially since Sherwood has already said that the squad is too big.

Jesus H Christ if Tim thinks this is the answer we really are in trouble...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...all-midfielder-Livermore-Hull-City-spell.html

Many many of us smelled trouble and were mercilessly slated for voicing our concerns.

This is the sort of trouble we sniffed.

I don't know about anyone else but this has really disturbed me.

I'm lowering my expectations of the future to zero, immediately!

I have to emotionally detach to protect myself.

Just gonna enjoy the league as a whole from now on and enjoy good football generally.

The switch has been flicked.

No. Playing Etienne Capoue would be the right thing to do in that situation
