Thought exactly the same thing when I saw the news. Would be surprised by anything other than a Sunderland win as Liverpool can't afford to play for the draw.

Even with a full squad this would've been a tough test for Liverpool. Sunderland are playing really well lately. I thought it would have been a draw, but with Torres and Gerrard out, I think Sunderland should win.

These are one of those where you would expect Liverpool to lose because they're without the 'big two' in Gerrard and Torres, however, I think it will be the total opposite and Liverpool will win comfortably. Benayoun and I think even Babel will shine in a game like this.

It's a huge game for Liverpool as they have a tough run coming up, starting with Man Utd straight after this game. I thought they might struggle at Sunderland anyway the way they have been playing but I have a sneaky feeling they might just get lucky in this game now. Don't really know why.

Masch will surely be struggling given his midweek exertions and Lucas is no match for either, so, yeah, I can see Sundland getting at least a point.
