If we manage to get through tomorrow who would you prefer in the final? Prefer Liverpool myself think they are poor and would give us room to play.

What makes grown men wear jester hats to football, totally embarrassing! Hopefully none on show in our end tomorrow!

I actually would prefer Liverpool, Everton would probably out work us.

As long as we get there I wouldn't have cared if it was Barcelona.

Ok, maybe not Barcelona, being a foreign club and all. But Liverpool and Everton? Same threat in my opinion. On our day we can beat both. Not on our day both could beat us.

If we manage to get to the final then Liverpool for me and it looks like it will be them.

I think we would be more up for Liverpool and take them more seriously than Everton. I just get that feeling that playing Everton would lead to another underdog loss like when we lost to Blackburn in the Carling Cup Final.

Only thing is Liverpool have that knack of not leading for most of the final and pulling it out of the fire. Nearly every 80s domestic final was like that and this century the same happened in the 2001 and 2006 FA Cup Finals.

This is bad juju all round. We're utterly screwed for tomorrow. First minute double sending off, penalty and VDV and Ade to both suffer double legs breaks.

Thanks a bunch guys. :(

Apparently everytime Liverpool have beaten Everton in a semi they have gone on to lose the final!

Well, it's Pool. They do like to win late, but I was at the old Wembley for the 82 League cup final and I soooooo want to do them.

I saw that stat a few days ago: 1950(Arsenal 2 nil - Arsenal beat Chelsea 1 nil in a SF replay), 1971(Arsenal 2-1), 1977(ManU 2-1).

Everton have lost more semis(12) than any other club.

I think that we have a better chance against Liverpool.

Everton would over work our primadonas

Tomorrow's a huge test and no mistake, if we succeed then I fancy our chances in the final because our opponents are 'The Poor Man's Spurs', not 'The Anti-Spurs' of Liverpool.
Wish Bale hadn't chirped up about us being the better team though, needless motivation for Blue Scum players and reminds me of Robbie Keane boasting before a losing NLD.:cautious:

And we beat Chelsea, then go on to win the final after securing CL football (leaving Chelsea with nothing as Newcastle will be 5th) (y)
