For me that was never a penalty, Hypia had his leg outstretched and Ballack with his back to goal made a "challenge" for the ball.

Totally believe Andy Gray should give the game up, he has had a Chelsea fuck & love fest most of the evening.

Babel on for Torres when your 2-1 down with 15 minutes to go? Not a good decision in my opinion.

As the rest of you, can't understand why Torres was taken off. Must've been either too tired to move or carrying a knock, otherwise it's a tactical mistake by Benitez.

Sorry TCO, definitely a peno to Chelsea. When Sami goes in like that there was always going to be trouble. I would however argue that Hyypia should've had one himself when he was fouled a few minutes later.

Other than that I though the ref did a good job.

Great moment for Lampard, if anyone deserves to score the winner tonight it's him

Aye. Eventhough I wanted Liverpool, I was praying he buried the penalty. He really deserved the chance to dedicate the goal, and his performance in general to his mother. Good lad.

Not necessarily TCO, we're all allowed to have different opinions.

But the way I saw it was that Ballack and Hyypia were both going for the ball, Ballack poked it away and got caught.

I still think Pool should've had a penalty of their own though...

Spurs fans get bragging rights anyway, we beat a CL finalist in the Carling Cup final, while Arsenal are still blaming everyone else for their 3rd consecutive season of failure.

That is good enough for me.

The Chavs will be stuck with Grant for another season as a consequence of reaching the Final (but not winning it - oh please Yanited.) Drogba will have pi$$ed off by then.

Far from singing Kalinka in Red Square and doing a knees up, the Chavs are probably on for a baton across the bonce. Sounds fair enough.

It's a funny old world. I don't think anyone would claim that Grant is a better manager than Mourinho, they've played appallingly all season and yet Chelsea still have a chance of doing the double. Football is crazy sometimes!

I actually thought Chelsea deserved it last night.

I'm not normally nice to them, or about them, but they actually played pretty decent from what I saw.
I cannot stand Drogba though, or Terry, but I was actually happy for Lampard to score, must have been one emotional moment.

Even the most hardcore chelsea hater must have appreciated that moment.

Also, just to add, I actually have a funny feeling, we might see the CL with Chelsea this year.

Can't see them winning the league, but you never know!

For me, taking off Benayoun was almost as ropey a decision as Torres. If Redknapp or Allardyce had done it, I'd call it match-fixing.
