Not going to dispute that it was an exciting game but yet again it’s a mentality thing. I can only remember two stand out games in Lucas’ Spurs career, the obvious in Amsterdam and him scoring the first hat trick at the new ground vs Huddersfield.

Lots have been saying this for ages with the amount of stale bread in our squad and the worrying thing is that we have more out on loan. This painful rebuild has been stated since 2018/19 and rinse & repeat.

So putting Moura on the back is a good thing? Porro is good going forward could just push him forward then or what about Danjuma?

Moura has been out of the squad for ages
Danjuma came on for Perisic.

We swapped out tired WBs for fresher wingers.

It was not a terrible move when we were down 2-3.

What else does Jota have to do to turn that from a yellow card offense to a red card/serious foul? It’s a full kick to the head, injuring the player, studs into the side of the skull, not just a toe poke, etc. I think back to the Royal red card against Martinelli and that seems like a love tap in comparison. I’m really struggling with it.

At 3-0 down with the very real possibility of another battering it was verging on about as bad as I can remember it at Spurs.

So as gut wrenching as that was, todays game has taken the immediate heat off the players as well as his shortness.

Massive improvement after the nightmare opening and one game closer to this being all over and the much needed reset.

Moura sent off against Everton and then assists Liverpool has a love for Merseyside like no other! That will kill our chances for Europe and I'd rather not bother with Conference league thank you! The very name alone is enough to make you say it's crap with no value! Although realise it could be a trophy we might actually be able to win lol.

What an absolute brain fart moment though that was instead of clearing it forward he passes to Jota to finish us. As said he is an absolute legend for Ajax since then without a contract, he's been nothing short of drivel offering us sweet FA particularly when coming on as a sub!

Liverpool were really exposed 2nd half and what a point it would have been instead it can be added to the archives of last minute winners against us.

I'll take comfort from our fightback but I won't take comfort from the fact we're one of the only clubs who knows how to screw it up in even the dying moments, gutted yet again!

Fair play to them for pulling it back to 3-3, I expected 8 or 9 after going 3-0 down.
I just find it amazing that Jota wasn’t sent off and surprise, surprise he then scores the winner.
How can VAR not make a call on that, it’s probably the clearest red I’ve seen all season!

We need to start believing that we can start games the way that we finish them. Start on the front foot, enable the front two with a proper midfield, and trust in their own attacking excellence. Kane and Son are literally the best forward partnership in 30 years of the Premier League. Give them a proper creative hook linking the play to them a la Eriksen and Dele and they're away.

Bale said it when he was here, after Mason took over last time... just let these boys attack, they know what they're doing.

Tierney and the VAR should be working lower-league games for the remainder of the season. The high boot decision is a complete disgrace
Lego head will be making big noises over that decision. Yet we never will. Winning is not in our blood, even seeking of justice we are so passive.

I guess end of day everyone working in the club just cant be bothered. Less trouble less follow ups.

That’s what happens if you insist on holding onto fucking bang average squad players who should have gone years ago.

Moura one of way too many. Levy at fault.

Normally I’d be raging, loosing in the last seconds like that, especially against Liverpool… but.. we saw something in the second half, was enjoyable to watch.

If they can stop leaking goals for fun in the first 20 minutes and give us some more of what we saw in the second half of this and the Utd game it might be more bearable to watch.

Also Away fans were great again.

Nothing wrong with the Lucas sub. We were chasing the game and went for it which is fine. Can argue he hasn't had game time but in that he had time and chose the shit option. Can't legislate for players making braindead decisions.

Except there's 10x more chance of Porro creating something going forward than Lucas.

Aside from Devine he brought on all the attackers he could. We were losing and needed to go for it. That's why he brought Moura on. Moura was in the RWB spot because he replaced Porro. I understood the decision and going on the attack got us to 3-3.

As for the back pass, I reckon he was trying to play it to Forster for a hoof towards Richy or Kane. Richy held onto one just prior to us scoring the third.

Was it poor back pass? Absolutely. Do I understand what his intentions were? Absolutely. Let's say he puts it out for a throw, that's just as good as settling for a draw and I saw plenty moan about that on Thursday.

Mistakes happen. Lucas is leaving in summer whatever happened today. Shame it's ending like this for what feels like a very decent bloke and one who loved the club with his constant COYS.

Yep. We were much the better side for 75 minutes. Klopp knows it - it's why he was so mental.
