Could happen. Wouldn't be that fussed really. Great player who I miss but both have moved on.

He's been Madrid's best player along with Ronnie this season, progressively got more and more game time, has looked class again. Hopefully nothing in it and he stays in Spain.

I do t see him leaving Madrid for Chelsea. He has a contract there and they fought hard to get him so I think he will be with Madrid a few more seasons yet.

As I said in the transfer thread, Marca wrote a piece saying I finally got him with Ancelotti referring to missing out to Modric at both Chelsea and PSG

Why would he leave REAL MADRID for chelsea? He wasn't Mourinho's purchase he was the club's and he'll be awsome for them next season, trust me Real will build their team around him in Central Midfield and they'll hope to add our Gareth alongside him the year after.

Madrid will build the team around him after a few good games at the end of the season will they? Are you having a laugh?

They jumped the gun, Modric has settled now and finished the season as a stand out player for Madrid.

Worst signing of the year? Step forward Alex Song.

Next season was always going to be the test. He's lucky he's got a manager who rates him (ancelotti)

I still reckon that he want truely crack it for real Madrid. Time will tell.

I think you would struggle to find a manager who doesn't rate Modric.

Always, I am always laughing E17yid I'm a Spurs fan what else can I do?
I do think he'll be a main player for them next season though.

It's either laugh or cry. :).

I think he will have a bigger impact next season, mainly helped by the fact he will get more time on the pitch under ancelotti.

I rely rate modric. For a club like us he was the ideal man to build a team around and although I think he was good enough to play for Madrid when he left us I still think he needs to find another level to be considered (by real Madrid standards) as one of their most important players. IMO, from what I've seen of him this year, he hasn't improved, but I accept he didn't get many opportunities for most of the season.
