Pretty certain that having 3 GKs registered is part of the squad rules, it is for UEFA competitions.


as for my choices:

Dawson - just doesn't fit with playing the ball out
Benny - is a wanker
Paulinho - totally disappointing
Dembele - all flash no cash
Carroll - doesn't seem to have kicked on (a PL loan perhaps?)

If an extra space is needed then get Nobby a good loan with a January recall, if Mason doesn't make an impression then he can move on in January and Bentaleb can return. Going to have to keep K. Naughts around if Walker's got a niggling injury, at least until January. Thankfully we'll not have to see him attempt to play LB again though!

Dawson - schedule a testimonial, invite all his new mates from Hull down to watch
Bennie - just go away
Carroll - loan him out, but I think he is as good as he is going to get
Townsend - Sell him, Lennon plays his role better, and if we bring in a LW, he'll see even fewer minutes
Demeble/Paulinho - pick one, sell the other

Kaboul - sell him to bring in Musacchio
Sandro - sell him to bring in Schneiderlin
Naughton - sell him in January to bring in Yedlin

Simple thread, maybe I should have called it Levy's Choice but hey ho. Pochettino has stated that we need to cut down the first team squad. Which 5 from the current first team squad (below) would you get rid of or be willing to sell to enable targets to come in?

I am not sure that is the current first team squad: are Carroll and Fryers ahead of Veljkovic, Fredericks and Ceballos, and is BAE anywhere?

Anyway BAE going is a given, and I see no use for Dembele or Paulinho, and Fryers can be happily loaned. If I had to part with another from your original list it would be Chadli, but rather reluctantly.

If we want to bring anyone else in then we can start thinking about losing the likes of Naughton, Dawson, Kaboul, Chiriches, Sandro, Carroll, Holtby or Soldado, but that would be on a 'one in one out' basis, with a view to upgrading individual positions. Would be disappointed if anyone else on that list went, and I would only let Carroll go on loan (as indeed would be the case with the aforementioned Veljkovic, Fredericks and Ceballos.)

One of Capoue (still not convinced but, if we sell Sandro I would keep him), Paulinho (not a prem player, would be much more suited to Italy) or Dembele (is he ever 100% fit?). Preference for Paulinho to go out of those three.

All of this is conditional on us getting in our targets. MM doesn't come, keep Chiriches, no MS, keep the three mids. BAE, Sandro and Daws should all go regardless.

In reality, I think, with a few notable exception (Hugo, Jan, Eriksen) all of our squad could be upgraded so I wouldn't mind anyone going if we had a top quality replacement. I do want to see what Lamela can do this season, and Chadli, I think there is a player there with some good coaching.
