Do loyalty points ever reset or go back to zero ?? I have been collecting my points now over several seasons but they have never gone back to zero - my friends at work who support other Premier League clubs say that the system at theyre club resets to zero every season, what do you think ??

They go back to zero if you don't renew the membership, I've also heard that you lose your loyalty points if you go from being a member to having a season ticket but don't quote me on it.

This bit's true, you only get 2 home cup games tho. LPs on the season ticket come into play when trying to get tickets to big away matches.

If you miss the deadline for membership renewal then you lose all previously accrued loyalty points (which I think is a bit shit, to be honest)... Otherwise, once you've been a member for five seasons you lose the points gained in the first season, which are then topped up by whatever you get from the current season, so you can only ever have five seasons worth of points...

How sure of that are you?

I've heard that being spoken of before, but I got a ticket to Arsenal away last season on my mates season ticket who has only done home matches for the past 5 seasons and he has accumulated 500+ loyalty points in this period according to eticketing.

I can't imagine it being easy to accumulate 100+ points a season on home games alone?

I just did.

You do lose loyalty points when you get a ST, however it's not all of them. You only lose points for home league matches, i.e matches ST holders don't get LP for anyway. ST holders get LP for cup games and away games and transferees get to keep those points. Which is good because that's how I earnt most of mine

100 points a season! Easy? Don't think so.

You get 25 for a season ticket and between 1-3 for other home games, CL games at home have been 1 point.

So you would need to go to a lot of away games or youth games to get up to a ton. I got 10 points for going to spurs arsenal in the fa youth cup a couple of years back. I would guess that the average ST points a year would be between 30 and 40.

You only get points for first team games AFAIK, maybe the FA thing was an exception to entice a few supporters in. I think you'd get 54 for going to every home league game and possibly the same for every away game. Cup games depends on the opposition and the number of home games. A "big" team would be 1 pt an a crap team would be 5 of course.

Correct. After years as a member with hundreds of loyalty points, mine were reset to zero when I became a season ticket holder. Crap system.
