Wouldn't it be good if Conte was channeling his inner Ossie Ardiles and Diaz was being signed to play as an incredibly aggressive LWB, with Traore at RWB and Kane, Bergwijn and Son as the front 3 in an all out attack!

Lloris
Romero --- Dier --- Davies
Højbjerg ----Skipp
Traore -- Bergwijn -- Kane -- Son -- Diaz

[I know this is in no way realistic and probably would be way too porous defensively but brightened up my day for 2 mins to think it]
Diaz is right footed though, why would he play lwb

Here's a cutup of every goal/assist this season. His goal vs Brazil at 1:25 is sick. Super talented player, fast, great finisher, has an eye for a pass.

Only question is his ability to play with Son as they both are best in that left inside channel.

His hand in that thumbnail looks like the shit prostethic that happy gilmores coach, chubbs has

If anyone is interested in Fabrizio's brief discussion of his latest Spurs news (Diaz, Amrabat, Ndombele) including a call with Pedro Sepulveda, who broke the Luis Diaz bid story, the video is here (Spurs bit starts at about 26 mins in):

As others have pointed out, United have recently signed Sancho for 80 mill.

Also Liverpool don't seem to do business like this, I don't remember the last time they signed a high profile player in an opportunistic way. Van Dijk, Allison, Keita, Fabinho. All extremely early on in their respective windows. I think if Liv were in on this, they'd have moved by now.

I could see Liverpool being sprung into action here with Mane's contract running down. However I totally agree with it not being their MO. Hopefully all of their finances are focused on agreeing new deals for Salah and Mane. I think their main summer target is Bellingham also who won't be cheap.

I certainly can't see Utd justifying a move.

Could be very opportunistic timing for us.

It was always going to be rejected.

Let's see if the club goes back in with another offer.
