Whether we're seriously interested or not, the club are clearly trying to get another wideman type forward in the team. With the unsuccessful bid for Martinez and now Diaz, I wonder where they will slot into the team. Our first choice are Kane/Son and it'll bring some great competition. Hopefully we can get able backup/competition for both the front two positions.

What have the last couple of pages got to do with Diaz??

essentially that Conte's plans for the squad are unlikely to fit what people want, because he has a track record of building his teams with some players that people wouldn't traditionally get excited over.

Thanks be to God that I am not a football scout as I would be an abject failure. My amateur eyes see a player that does not have great close control and he is 25. Yes not that old but not 18. Where was he until now. Again, I clearly know nothing compared to most but he reminds me of that Arsenal fella. I look forward to being wrong if it does happen.

Reminds me of Lamela tbh got that South American aggression and decent ability but consistency with output I don’t know

He's got all the attributes to tear up the premier league.

Fast, strong, rocket of a shot, great with both feet, can dribble past players with ease.

There's a reason why Liverpool sees him as a Mane replacement.

Would easily be our most exciting since VDV. Which is why it most likely won't happen :D

So, seems like Conte wants a functional, hardworking midfield then leaves the attacking to a powerful, pacy front 5 (Kane, Son, Diaz, Traore, Regulion)

It's like Barmby, Sheringham, Klinsmann, Anderton, Dumitrescu all over again...

Except with a plan.

Been avoiding the obligatory youtube clips but have seen about 3 ridiculous goals popping up on my twitter feed.

It doesn't matter if we already have Son. If you have a chance to sign an attacker of that quality you can't pass it up.

Genuinely believe he'll rip the prem to shreds if he gets the chance, has all the attributes and the goalscoring stats to back it off. Megaton signing if we can somehow pull it off.

I've only ever seen the clips on YouTube and the first I heard of him was today. Looking at the clips I see the same. He's a bit wild and has a tendency to run through people rather than round them.

Seems to find the target a lot in the videos ?

Have we tried just all agreeing to talk shit about him and picking apart every negative thing we can find to see if that works much like it apparently has with Amrabat and Tanner?

Someone's tried calling him ugly, that's all we've got.

This transfer is doomed.

I imagine he'd just replace Moura, with Son shifting to the right.
