'More control over transfers' than who? Doris the tea Lady most likely. Don't think Enrique would be a good fit here anyway and would require a huge squad revamp.

Levy means that as manager Enrique would have more control over Spurs transfers than Enrique does right now over Spurs transfers.

At least we will have footballers in midfield again. Nothing against Skipp and Hojberg, who both have excellent work ethic but we need some flair and guile in this area. Bentancur alone is not enough.

Anyone getting the awful feeling that we will end up with 7th choice like Nuno situation, Groundhog Day indeed.

The squad needs a revamp, regardless of who's appointed. One look at the results week by week and the 'goals against' column on the league table will tell you that the defence, in particular, could use a major upgrade.

Our defense needs a major sort out which will cost a lot. Enrique would need a lot more than that though whereas others we're linked with could use much more of what we already have.

Dier, Davis and da committee. A committee I’m sure that will suggest players better than them hence making themselves redundant.

Yes, but on the plus side there are some very good managers available this time so even our 15th choice would be better than Nuno.
