Think thats what works best for Barca... People that know how to play their way.

Really hoping he does well.

I thought he may of done better this season but he has done well

Interesting that he has recalled Deulofeu and Rafinha. He also worked with Pedro, Roberto and Batra.

He had a lot of trouble trying to implement the Barca style at Roma. You could see what he was trying to do, but he just couldn't do it. The players never believed in him. He's a Barca man so let's see how it goes.

Surely a club of the stature of Barca should be looking beyond a rooky with 3rd division experience, one average year in serie A & an average year in Primera Liga.
I admit that I know nothing much about him and I guess he knows the Barca way and no doubt people will point to Pep Guadiola but is it really likely that lightning will strike twice and he will be successful?

Where do you get 3rd division?? Barca B were already in Liga aldente when Lucho took over... Laid the foundations at Roma which Garcia took on and finished 8th with Celta, with a squad that was supposed to get relegated.... Wait and see. He will bust balls like Pep did and wont settle for defeat. He has to keep the seat warm for 2 yrs anyway because if Laporta wins the election Pep and Txiki will return with him...

I thought Barca B were in the lower tiers of La Liga, sorry S&B I hadn't heard of La Liga aldente but I understand it is the second division is that correct.
I'm not having a dig at him, I don't even know him, I was just genuinely wondering how it is that Barca are putting their faith in someone with no top class success and very little experience when none of the other giant clubs would thnk of doing that.
Is that really the reason Pep left then, just because Laporta got voted out?

I just cannot bring myself to like Barcelona. The sheer amount of dodgy decisions they benefit from is astounding. I never believed in corruption at the top of football until watching Barcelona in the champions league against Chelsea, Arsenal, and Real. Money just must have changed hands.

Pep fell out with Rosell. Over the row with Cryuff and Laporta. In 2012 even Pep knew their were changes needed. He wanted to sell Pique, Alves, and Pedro. Zubizaretta wouldn't allow him to do so.

I am not a fan of Laporta but I 100% guarantee if he wins election Pep comes back.

Interesting.
What were the reasons he wanted to sell those 3? They have been very good from what I've seen
