Us optimists must hope. That's all we have, for God's sake! Scream it from the battlements! Twitter it from the twats! Moura is ours! We will remember this day as St Moura's Day! From now till the end of time!just seen ssn reckon united have been outbid for lucas moura. optimistic replacement for modders? surely not?
Quick googling reveals the latest quotes from his agent say he isn't leaving Sao Paolo.
By extension, do you suggest that if the only bid for him is 20 million, we'll just accept and send him on his merry way?
Everybody's going through changes
No one knows what's going on.
And everybody changes places
But the world still carries on.
Love will always turn to sorrow
Everyone must play the game
It's here today and gone tomorrow
But the world goes on the same.
Sorry. Mindtrip to a Lindsay Anderson film. O Lucky Man. Song by Alan Price (post-Animals)
Back on topic: an astonishing film.
yep. and much quicker!Another appropriate quote:
"Don't hate the playa, hate the game."
Luka Modric's desire to force a transfer to Real Madrid has been complicated by interest from Paris St-Germain, who have indicated that they would be prepared to pay Tottenham Hotspur's asking price of £40m.
SSN 'understands' RM won't pay more than £27m for him.
Well in football terms - you're right. Madrid would be my personal choice. It's obvious they aren't going to budge much on the price. They seemingly think that Levy will blink or something. Being the massive, biggest club in da universe doesn't mean those high-ups aren't thick as shit after all.I would not be entirely surprised if he preferred to stay at Tottenham rather than go to Paris even if they have ambitious plans. He wants to test himself at the top and the french league in general is a step down and cant compete with England or Spain in that regard. Though I presume it is a wonderful city to live, pays fantastic money and provides a great group of talented players to train with and european competition, so I guess most people could be convinced.

So, accept PSG's offer is they have offered anything like £35m+. It's what we want after all. Shows that we've accepted a bid that meets our asking price without any fuss. It's all over to Modric then.
