Has there been any reports that the deal has Perisic involved anyway?

He wouldn't have gone until the end of the season anyway when he's out of contract so why would this have any affect on a transfer of a 16 year old CB?
Meant to have been going there in January, which reduced the fee we were due to pay

He’s rumoured to be on about £175k a week at Spurs.

I can’t see him leaving before his contract is up as the wages are much lower for Croatian league players.

THE BIGGEST TRANSFER IN THE HISTORY OF HAJDUK: LUKA VUŠKOVIĆ BECOMES A TOTTENHAM PLAYER!

In the biggest outgoing transfer in the Club's history, 16-year-old Luka Vušković becomes a player for the English giants Tottenham. With the transfer agreement between Hajduk and the English Premier League, Luka becomes the most expensively paid defender at his age in history, and he will officially be registered for Tottenham in 2025.

He is one of the most talented players of his generation, he was a member of the junior team that won second place in the Youth Champions League, achieving the highest score in the history of the Academy, as well as Croatian club football in the younger categories. It was with his goal that Hajduk's juniors defeated Shakhtar in the round of 16 and advanced to the round of 16 of the competition. He is a regular member of the younger age categories of the Croatian national team.

Luka Vušković entered the history of Hajduk. At only 16 years and two days old, he made his debut in the championship match with Dinamo, and three days later he scored a goal in the quarter-final match of the SuperSport Croatian Football Cup, thus becoming the youngest scorer in the history of the Club in official matches. In total, he has made 11 official appearances in Hajduk's jersey so far, and he was part of the team that won the Cup in the 2022/23 season.

- First of all, I want to thank Hajduk for making this possible for me, the coaches who contributed to my development, the people from the Academy, all the employees of the Club. In the past months, I was aware of the interest of big clubs from abroad, and I tried to stay on the ground, train and prepare for new challenges. It is a great honor to see that a club like Tottenham has shown such a desire and put in so much effort to bring in a player of my age. This makes me proud, and it is certainly a motive for me to work even harder on my development and further progress in order to be as ready as possible for the moment when I will play for their first team - pointed out Luka Vušković.

I know absolutely nothing about this kid, but I'm happy we're taking our youth setup/recruitment more seriously. He sounds like a top prospect and if he pans out we could be set for a long time.

Nice piece of business. Hopefully he continues to develop like he is and comes in ready to help the squad. We probably could have a set of CBs named Romero, v d Ven, Phillips, Vuskovic and Dorrington.
