That was fucking hilariously bad.

Goes some way to explain why Spurs Football Freestyler Billy Wingrove never played higher than semi-pro though. Not all about skill, especially in this country.

To be fair he's wearing casual trainers (Vans?) ab the ball doesn't look much cop either. Not really surprising.

The thing as a kid I wasn't able to do all the freestyle bullocks but on the pitch I had a better reading of the game and had better technique despite not being shite at freestyle. For instance no one could a hit a tree as far as I could and pass the ball like me nor could they tackle better than me.

Doing skills is overrated its unbelievable, look at the freestylers who get paid to do it, there is a reason why they arent in football despite being very skilful.

As for Inzaghi he fucking was amazing, I think Soldado could play that role if we keep him longer then his current contract.

Lol that's got nothing to do with skill, it's very very basic touch that a 5 or 6 year old could do better.

I hate to ask why you were kicking balks at trees in the distance.

Are you being serious? There's a reason players are taught skills, it's because it heightens touch and feel, he'd struggle to feel a medicine ball.

I agree about kick ups which he was shocking at and was taking about some of stuff you freestylers

As for Trees, just improve my technique, use to hit anything from bins to lampposts and of course would bet people for sweets and shit

Ever watch those freestyle "world cups" they sometimes have on? There is never a professional footballer in sight. Reason being is that kick ups and tricks doth not a footballer make.

I would say in his favour, that he is an empty bar so I assume that this is at the end of an evening after sinking too many Brandy & Cherryade's.

Reminds me of Bales unveiling at the Bernabeu

And why Kerlon was only ever a legend on FM.

My Dad always used to do hundreds of kick ups and he always tried to get me to do them. I practiced for many years and even to this day I'm happy if I get to ten! I could score for fun in games but kick ups no chance

Ronaldinho is probably the best freestyler/footballer that I can think of, incredible at both.

What was Mourinho talking about today saying Lukaku should stop staying quiet and reveal the reason he had to leave Chelsea on loan?

It's funny because most of the best players I've played with over the years have been the less "skillful" ones. The show-offs that spend 90% of training trying to replicate shit they've seen on YouTube tend to be the ones who go missing in games, can't play a simple ball, lose their markers, lack composure, take too many touches etc etc.

Yes, kickups can improve your touch but does fuck all else for your game. Some guys are the complete package and are great at freestyling whilst being excellent players, but if it's a choice between one or the other I know who I'd pick.

Yes it improves your touch but I believe football should be played on the ground. As Brian Clough said:

'If God had wanted us to play football in the clouds, he'd have put grass up there'
