Several reports claiming that Tottenham have made an enquiry about Podolski. He is tipped to go to Schalke which would also make me happy but I would actually welcome him at Spurs. I know he is a gooner etc but I always thought he wasn't suited to them and was more of a yid and he would be great as part of an attacking 3. He scores goals and gets loads of assists, and is very direct. Also great banter for the changing room, and Arsenal have been pretty harsh in benching him so much given how well he's done for them. Still, I can't see them wanting to sell to us especially given they've just lost the Ox to injury but it would be a good purchase IMO, better than Willian even

Why's he your least favourite out of interest? He got 18 goals and and 13 assists in 51 games with only 5 of those where he actually played the full 90 minutes. It's not exactly bad and it's proven PL quality

Yeah, I was just looking around because it's said he's close to joining Schalke, but then I was surprised to see that Tottenham had supposedly made an enquiry so I thought I'd just post it to gauge people's reactions. Clearly not a popular decision around here though

the times I've watched him he's been off pace, has had a poor touch and his finishing was meh. When I look at the rest of the team I always found Muller on the opposite flank or down the middle did more. Reus is another player that has impressed me more. He's just not a player I like. Very frustrating he just doesn't excite like the others on the squad. just my opinion
