My hunch this is going to be a bit harder than we expect
Totally. I think we've slightly ridden our luck in recent weeks. I hope the team realises that and doesn't get caught up in thinking we're better than we are.

Need to be more incisive and clinical. Would be nice to have Johnson back if possible

Big test not to get complacent after the last 2 big games. We must show similar application here.

Them having a game tonight is big, especially at home to Burnley, the crowd will be up for it tonight.

They're weirdly protective of it as well. I used to contract for Luton Council about 15 years ago, I took the piss when the Hatters thing was explained to me and one of the local councillors looked like he wanted to kick my head in.

Hope Ange has drilled it into the players not to take a win for granted and not be complacent.

Ange will have them focused and getting at them from minute one. We’ve had some slow starts over our last three games. This needs to be different and can’t afford to let the home crowd play the 12th man. Score early, and keep all the pressure on them.

I would not be surprised if PEH gets a start in this one. Sarr has been so good. But we needed the Dane’s calmness toward the end of the Pool game. Also, it’s important to get everyone on their toes and involved.

Other than that, I’m certain he will play a similar team lineup.

Not overly confident but reckon we might scrape a Premier League record of 10-0.

Son x4
Kulusevski x2
Richarlison
Maddison
van de Ven
Udogie

[Edit: injured, so these guys won't be in our record-breaking list of scorers]

I don’t see complacency tbh. Certainly in the Pool game I think the team were thrown by the sending offs. But Luton will be tough, as I think most teams are.

So are we going to have a bingo and see how long it takes the in game commentator to mention the liverpool VAR situation. I'm going for 45 seconds.

Luton was the main centre of ladies' hat production in the UK for over 200 years, with surrounding towns and villages across Bedfordshire. Hence the nickname 'The Hatters'.

And the term 'mad as a hatter' comes from hat workers suffering from neurological disorders due to exposure to mercury during the hat making process. I've waited over 40 years to impart that particular piece of wisdom since the opportunity never arose.

Son not in training pics had to come off early against Liverpool and has been carrying a knock the last 2 games 🤔 wonder if he’ll be on the bench for this one.

He’s in SK’s international break squad… sounds like he needs a good few weeks rest to resolve whatever this issue is.
