Why would we sell anyone? Unless they start forcing a move, which if they do, let them go.. but we're definitely building here, 2nd season in a row we're challenging up there. Not seeing City, Utd, Liverpool in the title race the past 2 seasons have you?

Why would they want to leave??? Only answer to that is £ signs

Is that forgetting Trippier? He's come on really well this season and if Walker was to leave, surely Trippier would be an automatic 1st choice RB with KWP or another as his backup?
Not forgetting Trippier at all...I assume he would be the starter, but we need two players capable of playing at a high level at that position. If Walker leaves, it means Poch thinks KWP is ready to perform at that level, or he expects to at least be able to cover with Dier

I think that if that was the case we'd have seen KWP on the bench a couple of times this season.

They are just trying to unsettle the team, hoping that Shitty will go on a run and finish above us in 2nd place. Twats!

I am probably in the minority but I feel that there is mileage in this one. Walker is 26 or so, so probably looking for the sort of contract that will set him and his whole family up for the next generation, and before his stock starts to fall. His biggest asset is his pace and when that goes he will be on the downward spiral.
He is probably one of our longest serving players so might fancy a new challenge near to where he grew up and Poch/Levy might well decide to cash in and invest elsewhere.

A few of my friends who do not support Spurs think we are likely to lose Walker / Rose this summer. Similar to LeScum with Clichy/Cole when they had been playing well.

I don't - I think we have a team ethos and the players love Pochettino AND we are challenging for trophies. But perhaps these are my 'rose' tinted glasses...?

Eriksen and even Wanyama are apparently drawing interest from their clubs.

I love working for my boss, he basically allows me to be my own boss, I have such flexible hours etc etc etc but I work fucking hard... If someone came in tomorrow doubling my pay I will most probably leave.

Enjoying being managed by Poch is one thing but Poch doesn't pay the mortgage etc...

I know real life issues perhaps doesn't impact the players in the way it impacts us, I mean after all I don't earn 70k a week but an extra 50 to 100k is still an extra 2.5 to 5m a year and over walker or rose contract length about five years that equates to about 15 to 30m

Remember when tapping up used to be a thing?

My memory is slightly vague on this, remind me; wasn't there usually the door of a Range Rover involved too?

As for Kyle isn't his agent that berk that shifty fucker Defoe got rid of?
As for City fuck 'em, if they want him there'll be the:
  • Selling to a rival
  • English player premium
  • English player to a club desperate for English players premium
  • English players going to get even more expensive in the future premium
  • Plus Mr Levy
Basically he's going to cost them a bloody fortune and TBH i wouldn't sell for anything less.
