I honestly think it's the sort of luck that's gonna get them out of a deep hole - of course I don't expect them to win anything next year - but football's often about slim margins

It's so annoying, they weren't even top of the fair play league, there might as well be a European place for best kit or most loyal fans, its terrible. We had to do so much to get into Europe and then City do because of the fair play league. Maybe if they put more tackles in and risked getting more cards they won't be thumped 8-1 by teams like Middlesborough anymore.

After the red card, i'm sure they were told not to bother putting any more tackles in, in the hope of getting this place.

And you're right about the patheticness of giving out UEFA places like this. Fulham may have got it even though they finished 46th.

I know i wouldn't mind if we got in via this method if needed be, but i'd feel kinda dirty, like the feeling you get after fucking your second cousin. It's great but it's not right.
