hes a left sided cb, home grown and a Dutch international. Imo he was good at Bournemouth and the jump up from a relegated team to command a spot in the man city team with the competition he has there was a big ask. I think he would do well for us along side Anderson
Bournemouth were very poor defensively, he was a very big part of that when they were relegated, also isn’t Anderson also left sided, and as we don’t have Anderson, how they would play together is a pretty mute point.

So mute. We mustn't talk about it. ;)

Ake is a good player. Bournemouth, the season that they were relegated were smashed with first team injuries.

I think He'd be a decent signing regardless of HK.

Just sold kane to psg for 165m on footie manager. So that would be an acceptable amount for me IRL.

I think you’ll find he’s right footed and played on the right of Fulham defence. Sprays it around like Eric and Toby too

Levy will not be wanting to sell especially since what has happened this season. The fans are not on his side and he knows selling kane will be a bad move. Lets see if harry kicks up a fuss if this drags on.

There are only two ways this should go - either make it definitive that he's staying or make the sale quickly. The worst scenario is that we cave at the end of the window.
Sadly I can totally see this happening.

There is very little upside to us selling Kane. I suppose Paratici may claim he can work wonders with the funds from a sale, but that remains to be seen and he hasn't gotten off to a strong start given the Fonseca debacle.

Unless Kane downs tools and refuses to contribute, there's almost no downside to us keeping him. I have no confidence we'd use 150M to replace the consistency of end product he provides.

Getting in City players as part of the fee would almost certainly result in someone unmotivated or very inconsistent joining the ranks.

And a sale puts a new manager under an intense spotlight that will easily turn negative after 3 games if things are not going well.

With city sweetening players up with hefty pay offs it’s only the way we’d ever dream off being able to afford certain mentioned players, there certainly all better players than what we’re no doubt be dished up by paratici and levy anyway. Let Harry go and take Jesus, Laporte, silva and Ake.

With Nunu maybe coming and Paraticis good connections with Mendes I would be ok to see 100m + Silva

Straight cash 180m to start negotiations which we turn down but give city first option next summer

City have first option on any player they want really, simply because they'll pay over the top and offer ridiculous wages that non doped clubs can't compete with.

I like that City are willing to swapping Sterling + cash for Kane. Sterling earns over twice as much as Kane does. Good luck sorting that deal out.

The amount by itself is fine. Adding Laporte into the mix is just ludicrous.

When a team with unlimited resources comes in for your 'once in a lifetime' player who you don't have to sell at this precise moment in time, you squeeze them as hard as you possibly can. Kane will be worth just as much with a year less on his contract and all of us would be happy if he stayed. IMO, any deal should make their eyes water or they can piss off. They don't particularly need Laporte either.
