I heard if we beat Fulham, we're playing a double header on a Wednesday evening against City and Arsenal on 10th March. Both games have been shortened to an hour each though, obviously.

You have confused yourself again, pard'ner - there are 8 teams involved in a round-robin octagon battle royale of death requiem last man (or creature in the case of the nomads) standing GAME OF DEATH (with snug fitting yellow tracksuits:grin:).

Let the games begin.

Operations wise, that doesn't surprise me.

It's just City have a huge external bank account they can dip into whenever they like.

In furtherance to Kendall's post, it is based on revenues generated, operating costs, etc.

The ArseScum are streets ahead of us at the moment due to the revenues generated by the Emerirates. They still have a substantial debt - when compared to ours, I believe. And if the governing bodies clamped down on the 'debt' issue immediately we would be 'seen; to be in a far healthier state. As will be the case when the grond is redeveloped (or, if the obstacles prove insurmountable, relocated). Put together, this should drastically alter this superficial view of club finances. Most damning of all, if all factors are considered, is the state of United's finances.

City will now be like Chelsea, they will constantly be operating at a loss as the money put in to the club by their investor is given as an interest free loan rather then just given
