This is a big chance for Winks. Will we get the Winks of the Bernabeu or the Winks whose positioning is like that of a headless chicken and who commits five rash fouls at the edge of the box?

Mason has shown a huge amount of faith by picking him so he must be on top of his game in training, let’s hope Winks doesn’t make him look like a fool.

Which ever winks turns up it won't change the fact he kept running to the press. If he scores a hatrick today I still want the weasel gone. I'm literally fuming he's starting in the cup final.

Behind the team, but we all know Winks is nowhere near good enough. I've seen WInks against City too many times to know he's dreadful.

We will get utterly outclassed in CM, don't say I didn't warn you.

You could well be right but then again I completely see the logic of him starting, anyway let's see, you never know.

We can‘t judge Ryan Mason ‘before’ kick off, because we haven’t got a clue what strategy he’s implemented. We have no idea what’s been discussed with the senior players, or indeed how the players have trained these past few days.

Let’s hope he’s thought this through properly.
I‘m sure he has.

It's easy to tell that talk sport is owned by the same company that own the S*n newspaper. Giving it all the emotional "we are the football family" stuff regarding the ESL.

If I were in his shoes, in this job at short notice at the age of 29, long before I'm ready, having only coached under 18s...

I'd probably not have slept in days.

I think these players are in their 'bounce' period right now but yeah I want him gone in the summer because ulmately he's not good enough and he will just revert to type.
