Well, still bang in it. (not sure how)

One thing, we need to back off a bit more, we're far to aggressive with our defending... :cautious:

Seriously though, need more from Midfield and attacking three as we know our defenders limits in playing out, so give them something.

Forget VAR, refs need to all be singing off the same hymn sheet first and foremost.

Way too many different interpretations of the rules.

If all cards deserved were given Reg and Laporte would both be off and Dias and KDB would have yellows too

6 of the most blatant yellows going for me.

Bloody hell that's as bad as it gets. Cant believe we're level. Mason and Powell need to earn their crust at half time to sort this out.

We are riding our luck. I'm quite disappointed by our approach. This feels too Jose-like.

Ryan needs to get us on the ball.

Ref is a wanker though, Laporte should be off

Positives. It’s 0-0 and Harry’s ankles haven’t exploded yet.

Negatives. Literally everything else.

That wasn't an enjoyable half whatsoever and no excuse for some of the lack of urgency shown and the casual gifting of possession.

The clamour will be for Bale but we need Ndombele in the middle.

How many subs do we get in this comp? Is it 5? If so I’d be making two changes at H/T

We've kind of contained them????

De Bruyne has been forced to come out wide to get time on the ball. The issue has been that 1v1 their wingers are roasting our fullbacks, but if we double up there and concede the middle then De Bruyne scares me more.

GLC has been our out ball. Everytime he's been able to isolate someone during their pressing phase (just 3 times lol) he's got out of it and we've gone at them with pace.

Was gutted to see Winks on the starting XI. Glad to see Mason had a change of heart and not start him after all.
I know we’ve not done much as a team but he is just average and then poor against this level of player. Another who has bought into the hype into how good he is.

Man City are just much much better than us atm. I don’t think we can really change much, just hang in there and hope for a slice of luck from a set piece.

In addition to Dier and Reguilon being an absolute joke have any of you noticed how many times Alderweireld has passed the ball towards Lloris’ right foot when he’s left footed? puts him under unnecessary pressure.

Playing out from the joke and playing the ball backwards from our free kicks has resulted in losing the ball and putting ourselves under pressure every single time.

If City score one, it will get embarrassing. Something needs to change, only player that wants to drive forward when they get the ball with any sort of conviction is Moura

Think we’ve actually done alright. These financially doped oil slavers do this to almost every team they play against.

We are going to need a massive dollop of luck to get through this game.

Not sure I’d change the personnel at this stage but possibly bring Kane deeper to try and have an outlet.
