Just can't see us getting in behind them with that line-up. Who is going to be making the runs?

With that line-up, I hope we are playing a 4-5-1 with Eriksen having licence to go where he wants. Discipline from all the other midfielders, please.

No jan again, i frear a grilling for sanchez against there sharp attack.

As others have said, no moura is a strange move. Looks as though poch is looking to play a more patient possesion based game. Sissoko will be massive getting us up the pitch.

Looks as though we are all geared up to create that chance for kane to hopefully take.

I think Lucas has had a few moments to deserve that being called ‘Lucas-esque moments’.
Agree I just think Son has more.

Including against today’s opponent which is quite pertinent.

Annnnnd he’s on the bench so fuck it.

Hope Aguero's not quite at it today. If you compare every player in peak form/condition, he's the best striker in the Premier League, even better than Kane.

You’re not allowed to say that! Put your Spurs blinkers back on please. We’ll win 5-0 today.

People fuss too much about formations. It's obvious from the several posts that looked at the 11 and wrote "thank fuck it's not a diamond" and the several other people who looked at the same 11 and wrote "bugger, it's the diamond".

It wasn't a strictly a diamond last week - we lined up 4-3-3 at kick off - and the formation changed dynamically throughout the game, as it always does, depending on the transition and the zone of play. I find it more useful to think in attacking and defensive blocks than formations: who joins the attacking block when we win the ball and who drops back into the defensive block when we lose it?

For me, it just doesnt look good when Sissoko, Ndombele and Sissoko starts at the same time. When we had the ball vs Villa, it felt like they choked each other. And when we defended it felt like Sissoko and Ndombele defended with too much width. When we changed formation, it looked better.
