Most other premier teams would have been blow away by City’s first half performance. We are still in the game, only one goal down. That’s not luck, it’s keeping cool and believing in the team. Let’s just see what happens in the second half....

I have not seen a step up from last season. I am starting to feel that Poch has brought us to the best he could. He has been moaning a lot this season but has he looked at himself and work on his tactical weaknesses? That pathetic passing from our own box which has been ongoing for so many seasons, totally useless! Players do not seem to know what they are doing and that I blame Poch for it.

I’m shocking first 20 but then we decided to turn up. Hoping we can get something out of this.

winks needs to be taken off. He could have watched the game at the bench or any seat in the stadium. We need two big and agile guys like sissoko and Ndombele to stop their attacks

We need a proper DM. If Dier or Wanyama aren’t deemed good enough then we needed to have bought one. Winks isn’t a DM and needs to play alongside one. N’Dombele isn’t a DM either and Sissoko definitely isn’t.

Lucas wouldn't have made a difference that half. Especially as he would have been picked over our best performer, Lamela.

You could certainly be right, but if we're talking about preference on the right side of midfield, I'd have Lucas over Sissoko, and he could at least offer more of a threat of a run in behind than Sissoko had, especially in those few times where we did win the ball back and have it just inside their half but with no real option.

Controversial but I think KWP was ok in that half. Left constantly exposed by Sissoko with an overload on the right.

When did I miss Eriksen leaving for Real Madrid?
Not convinced at all re Sanchez.
Stop fucking about passing out from the back and stop giving it to Lloris to lump aimlessly.

Get Moura and Lo Celso on asap please.

Apart form that all good:)
Yeah KWP hasn't done a lot wrong, he's been exposed by the lack of cover in front. He's been very positive on the ball and I believe he's fine on the ball under pressure.

Sanchez can't be blamed for the second goal as he had no chance getting out to that but he is having problems bringing the ball out and finding passes.

That's how this works. Aguero scores from half a yard out because if incredible passing and he is a top striker. Kane doesn't run the ball past all 11 players from my own half and he is shit.

Imagine Kane in this city side, he would score 50 a season. Let's hope he doesn't fancy going up north!

Agreed, it’s almost as half the peiple
Think he needs to pick up the ball, and create chances himself (which he often does) but if we can’t get out of our half, he’s never going to get the balls he thrives on

It's always the same conundrum when facing City. They have an insane press and they have enough quality up front to great chances out of nothing.
You are right, which is why it's so disappointing to have gifted them two free goals.

Days like this when everyone’s bad so everyone chooses their favourite target to rip. Proper Tottenham this
Mine is Winks.
Not much for his part in the 2nd goal, but he is not doing what he does best - allowing us to play through their press and linking up play.

Not sure why the need for the meltdown. This is probably the best team in the world we're playing.

They won the league last season despite missing their best player for half the campaign and going up against a Liverpool side that had astonishing good luck with regard to injuries, opponents throwing the ball into their own net week after week, and a dozen blatant dives being awarded with penalties.

They're a million miles ahead of us and there's little shame in that, their oil money means they simply don't operate under the same conditions as 99.99% of football clubs.
They might have the money but they don't waste it. If they think a player is overpriced they don't pay and walk away.

Norwegian commentators also commentating how effing obvious it is how narrow we are. How can Poch think this is a good strategy against teams like City and Pool?

We might turn up, it’s just disappointing knowing the talent we have as a team to just let city play. COYS make us proud even in defeat.

Poch won't make a sub until the 65th minute, like clockwork every single game... He's not proactive enough sometimes

Surely we should try marking Debruyne we just giving the best player in the league no respect at all
