Tom Huddlestone is out of the frame for Saturday's trip to Manchester United.

Harry Redknapp reported on Friday morning that the midfielder had yet to recover from the ankle injury that kept him out of last week's draw against Everton.

Ledley King and Vedran Corluka both remain out with groin injuries.

Better news sees Jermain Defoe making good progress after his ankle injury.

"We're really pleased with how he's coming on," said Harry. "He's always positive about getting back and playing."

JD remains out though alongside long-term injured Michael Dawson, Jamie O'Hara and Jonathan Woodgate.

Pitty about Hudd, but Jenas has to play now, although Sandro could be considered.

Got a feeling he will save Jenas for the Inter game so Sandro to play at OT....possibly.

what a shame, could Mr Palacios start rather than JJ?

I would be starting Jenas and I hope this doesn't tempt Harry into changing things too much, like moving Modric out left and Bale to LB - starting Jenas and Palacios in the centre.

Jenas and Modric for the midfield spots for me, with Bale on the wing and Benny at LB.

Its a pitty there is no time scale regarding Hudd, could be being saved for the Inter game as its at home and only 3 days later?

i totally agree but as Delboy said Jenas will probably play v Inter so i could see Palacios starting with Modric in the middle
