Poch has so clearly been selective in the games we've implemented the press in this season. City & Chelsea being the main examples even though we ran out of steam in the second half at Chelsea. If we go down that route against this lot, and I reckon we will, I think we'll beat them..

A win would be great for so many reasons. Up in to the top four, 9 points ahead of Utd, confidence going in to the Christmas run of games, as well ss seeing Maureen lose it!
Not sure if it is me but still the thought of playing Utd at Old Trafford worries me. I think it is the years and years of going there and getting nothing. However you look at their team now and despite the quality of a few of their players overall they are now a pretty average bunch and I would say 6th or 7th looks about the right place for them in the league this year. It is a mentality thing for us, if Poch can get us believing and going for it today then we could win this.

I know they won a lot of titles in the past 25 years but you don't get 12 points for beating Utd, still just the 3

I think it will be alot more difficult than people think... I think it will be a great game though and just hope we don't bottle it when it's time for us to take advantage of making a statement.

On football focus yesterday they showed a few replays of the decisions that we have had dealt to us at Old Trafford recently. Fucking hell even now you look back and wonder what in the fuck happened there?!
Everyone else will probably say Mendes goal but for me the Nani one from a couple of years ago just beggars belief, clattenburg blows for a free kick to us then allows that little prick to kick it into the net and run off to celebrate.

To be honest I actually have a feeling that we might do.
Really if we want to retain title aspirations we need to at minimum draw this and ideally get a win. They are 6th not 1st,2nd,3rd etc and mouriniho saying they play well every game is just to try and build their confidence. Man.c shat on them at their place and they just defended for their lives vs l-pool, I've seen man.u enough this season to know they certainly have a threat with ibra,pogba,Mikatarian etc but if we play how we did vs Chelsea away or for periods vs CSKA ans Swansea we will be too strong for them.
The key is keep Carrick quiet. He's played 9 games for them and they've won 7 and drawn 2. Get him off his stride and we will kill their game.

To dare is to do. I'd take a draw but hope we go for the win and I think we have a great chance. They also had a big flight to Ukraine and a day less to recover, meanwhile we now have virtually all our team back and fit and are hitting some big form.
A win today would go some way to showing that Spurs are a serious club now and while we don't take every opportunity we cannot be taken lightly.

Agree. This will be a very difficult game but the boys will also be determined to make up for last year when aside from the walker own goal they created nothing and we controlled the game. Since then we've hugely improved. It's going to be about who controls the game better, who takes their chances and who's key attacking players make the difference, will it be ibra,pogba,mikaterian or Kane,alli,eriksen? Similar good from from both sets of 3 but ours have had longer together and our team is more used to our way of playing hoping we nick this 1-0 or 2-1 would be more likely. We'll do well to keep a clean sheet there.
