I always enjoy players reactions to getting tackled by Sandro, it's like they've been told their pet rabbit's just snuffed it. They all look so helpless, you can see them thinking, 'how the fuck did he get the ball, and not even touch me'.

As you say, that tackle on one of the worlds finest players, was stunning - and so glad it was the start of such a great goal. I'll be talking about that goal for years.

The goal worked out very similarly to the winner against QPR, where Dembele got the ball off Granero and Sandro picked it up and led the break. Very nice CM duo, I just wish we had Modric or VDV to join them.

Sandro also had the nice diagonal ball for Defoe (who took it quite well) to help set up the 3rd

Sky Plus, love it :)

In HD though, it takes a pretty big chunk of my storage space up, because I wont ever be deleting this!!!!!

Virgin Media has huge storage space (and ESPN too for all your wildest Serie A/Bundesliga fantasies)!

I've just remembered the 2 guys I sit next to at work support Man United, considering going in tomorrow dressed in full Spurs kit. I'm going to have an absolute field day.

Sandro 9 - MOM - broke up everything. Played with real heart.

Everyone else 7-8s. Walker was disappointing 6.

Be aware you might end up on https://twitter.com/WankersFullKit

Not that I think you're a wanker, cos I don't! But that Twitter page is particularly funny and full of grown men in full football kits lol

JD played an important part of all three goals, cant believe some people give him a low score. Drew Ferdinand out left to open up for Vert on 1-0. Totally opened up Uniteds defence for Bale on 2-0 and held up the ball well on and sent Bale through on 3-1.

Probably because they decided that he had played badly befroe the match had even kicked off!

Please watch the game again. JD pottered around. He did not run non stop.

Great win though.
Mate watched it at the time and again since....when you have to play 4 against 1 as JD did you ain't going to actually get there very often...one up front against Man Utd is thankless.....it is you who need to pay attention....he was involved in severral of the goals, put pressure on centrally....clearly you have no idea of playing the role. If you want to talk about someone not playing their role have a look at Dempsey who truly jog trotted throughout.....but hey he scored a tap in and hasn't had time to earn the pre-conceived bias .....

I don't think we can have any complaints about his performance against Utd at all, having a huge hand in 2 of our goals through a great bit of movement and then of course that bit of, drumroll, 'quality in the final third' for the 3rd goal.

He then had the small matter of having to occupy the 2 CBs and Carrick who dropped deep - it was easy to pass it around him.

I'm not his biggest cheerleader, but credit where it's due.

Don't agree. Vertonghen was very good going forward but he was far from flawless from a defensive point of view. I'm very excited by this signing, but CB is most definitely his best position. He's very good going forward and at home when we need a goal its certainly an option.

Benny at LB for me, Vert at CB beside Gallas - long term, Kaboul and Vert, think they're going to be titanic for us.

Have to agree with this, Nani got round Jan to easily and although he can play there he is much better at CB.
