Disappointing considering the way we performed in the second half but considering we've got pretty much every creative player in our team injured or away it's a fine result.

United should be ashamed of themselves really.
You have to see the difference - we're without key players and still going to Old Trafford and controlling the game. They looked petrified, defending in fits and starts, no real coherency at all. A team that's spinning wheels, really.

Someone said it earlier, but Johnson does look scared. Weak shots, half arsed jumping, not being strong in the 50/50s.

I’m a fan of Johnson, but I think the occasion today has got to him. Maybe playing at Old Trafford, maybe knowing the calibre of players we are without and knowing he needs to step up or maybe it’s as simple as new club and a young player?

But we need to stay behind him, be patient and understand he will need time.

He isn’t working hard either though which is unforgivable for me.

He barely jogs back at times. He should be chomping at the bit, because he will be benched very soon

They wont be.

They will cry that they had players out too.

They will also make out they had better chances.

Yet, if you just paid attention to how the 2 teams approached the game and the systems, youd say Ange is the better coach.

Over 2 games he has proven that to me.

And thats me believing Ten Hag was better than most options out there 2 years ago.

Would appreciate if everyone who was moaning about Skipp/Hojbjerg would give them props, because they were great.
PEH was great, Skipp was ok.

They can occasionally ‘do a job’ especially PEH, I’ve never had a problem with him being a 6th choice CM for us but for me as well as Skipp did for his usual level and style of play, if we’d had Bissouma or Sarr or Maddison or even Lo Celso or Kulu instead I think we win that game.

I thought we were good. How far we've come.

Better side with half our first 11 missing.

Tbt to Sky, for once they did us justice with the injury talk.

Thought Bentacur, Romero and Udogie were really good but PEH was outstanding

Player looked tired towards the end and very few options on the bench to come on and make an impact.

Thought Richi was v good today.

Totally agree. Not saying he’s doing well, but he definitely has more to come and got a good few assists for us. Needs time and I don’t think he would have played as much with a fully fit squad.

Kulu plays, think we win that.

Richy was fantastic

Thought Werner did well in his first start. Johnson not so much.

Now to pray for no further injuries coming out of the game.

Our poor defending in the first half was what cost us the game, thankfully it improved a lot in the second 45.

Our lack of creativity in the middle showed too, but that can't be helped.

I'm struggling to see what Johnson brings.

Gary Neville said it at some point. We still had a flow to our game without so many key players. Ange is setting us up well it has to be said.

Despite controlling the game for large parts, we still didn’t test their keeper. Which is our biggest problem this season.
I’m not sure I’d say “this season.” I’d agree to the last couple of weeks.

Team is knackered, they need a rest and their mates back. We’ll have some creativity and energy soon enough.

They were fine and worked hard.

They were not great and we'll be much better off when they won't be near the first XI.
I don't get why we can't appreciate players without it being assumed we want them as our captains. Sometimes players just play well.

Shout out to Hojbjerg who, whilst he’s seeking a move away, put in a brilliant performance. Skipp as well. The midfield were brilliant despite the pre game concerns.

yeah on paper that ManU midfield should have won the battle but our 3 dominated them. I was worried before the game but they were brilliant.
