Great video. Dont know why the original lyrics aren’t “I’m loving Ange's style of football instead” though!

I get confused with why it keeps flirting between “We” and “I”. Just stick to one ffs. “We/we’re” makes more sense as collective imo.

Is poch a scout now? From what I remember he wanted De Jong and didn't get him. Also think he wanted Bruno as well and we ended up with Lo Celso.

Probably more a dig at levy for going for the second choices like we're doing with Brennan Rogers according to itk.
De Jong was the summer before he (reportedly) wanted to go all in for Ndombele. Ndombele is also on record saying Poch played a crucial part in getting him over the line.

Lo Celso was also reported to have been his priority all along and we negotiated for him long before Bruno. Don't doubt he would have loved Bruno as well though.

Edit: Pretty sure I got the timeline right there 😁

Edit 2: That's a damning disagree from a legend, @JJetset. It actually made me go back to see how it actually played out. Based on what I can find, both from ITKs here and news reports, nothing of what I suggested seem inaccurate? If you have the time, feel free to fill me in on what I'm missing (here or privately). If not, no worries! Take care, man.

It's utterly embarasing. That is what it is. Sort of thing Wet Spam/Woolwich would do. #cringe
Not really. Its made for the terraces, something everyone can get behind and be tribal about. Isn’t that what football is about. Its hardly cardboard clappers ala Leicester. Name a football chant thats won a grammy or ivor novello award?

It's really not.
This is just a global superstar who has picked up on a take of his song by some fans, and decided to join in on the fun.

If the club had engineered this, then yes, maybe that would be cringe but it's just a show of how far the Ange vibe is reaching.
Lighten up and enjoy the moment.

Apologies if already posted, but I love this:

On Tottenham fans singing: "It's nice. They're part of this. We need their energy and their support. We give back for the support they've given us, that goes hand in hand. I said before the game, the more we are united as a football club, the better chance we have of success."

I totally get why a coach such as him who's not brought in to develop players would be pissed off at the lack of ambition. But for his own sake, he'd have been better channeling that anger into more productive means then just leaving amicably at the end of the season if he didn't share Levy's vision. He should have handled the press better and batted away all of the contract talk. He's painted himself as a dinosaur and I think clubs will think twice before appointing him now in spite of his record.

I wonder what he makes of this Postecoglou team now? It'd never happen but would be so intrigued to see him talk about us as some sort of pundit.
Exactly.

He should have gone by doing his best and at the end say that he cant agree on a way forward with the board so wont be staying on. Integrity.

We all know Levy. We all know Conte. We can read between the lines as to what happened.

But he wanted to shout it from the roof top. He wanted everyone to know its Tottenham's, the players' and the board's fault. Not his.

He took the cowardly route. I am sure he was missing Italy and his Family but He only had to wait a couple more months and he could do what he liked. But no he had to set fire to it.

I lost all respect for him. The fans are the ones who suffered the most from it and they were respectful enough to give him loads of support.

NDombele was scouting teams fault. They should have been doing this research and presenting it back to Poch. Hindsight of a wonderful thing. Don't forget, there were other teams in for him and we all thought we pulled off cracking signing
How do you know the scouts didnt tell Poch that he had previous issues?

Poch seemed to be the kind of coach who felt like he could fix everything.

Sorry, I just dont like scouts getting all the flak. If they were decent scouts, and I am sure they are, they would have included all this in their report.

...and as far as fan designed chants go, its one of the best.

Nothing cringey about it at all.

No way could anyone have known how much of a knob he would be.
Ndombele is his own fault!

Just three games gone but on stats the Ange magic already working compared to last season, lets hope it continues.
For the stat lovers average shots per game up, shots on target up, the biggest difference so far passes per game average , last season 474 with accuracy of 83% this season 583 per game with accuracy at 88% . keep it up Ange.
Off topic but whatever ever happened to the old chant heard at The Old Lane years ago, usually started by the Park Lane , "We all agree Tottenham Hotspur are Magic" then different parts of the ground used to repeat the Magic bit so it was like an echo going round the ground.
