WALOB.

We’ve created tons of chances this season we just don’t have anyone who can shoot/score apart from Son.

Our injury crisis has been insane.

We always knew this period of games was going to be really rough as will other parts of this season but stick by it and with our players back and some signings we will be fine.

The first 8 games with our fully fit XI showed just what Ange is capeable of.

I would argue chance creation has been one of our biggest issues this season

I fully trust in Ange but I think our play is so overrated. Lots of possession but not enough threat.
When you control possesion the way we did tonight it's not a tactical problem.

Our players aren't as good as a lot make out on here.

Bowen and Kudos both get in our team. That says it all.

Big Ange fan here, and maybe a bit of a knee jerk reaction, but he needs to realise this is the EPL and not the SPL.
We cant go a goal up and expect the opposition to just roll over like they do in scotland for Celtic.
Yes we have injuries, but we also shoot us in the foot to many times, sloppy defending, poor discipline leading to reds etc.
We play great stuff at times, but then give away the advantage for one reason or another.

Ange is getting the most out of a heavily depleted squad. If these results were happening with the likes of Kane and Maddison in the squad, my opinion might change, but they’re not.

It’s pretty obvious our biggest issue is the quality of our attack. I genuinely would’ve taken West Ham’s front three over ours today. That’s saying something.

Injuries aside we need more depth in this squad and players that can do something with the ball. Losing Maddison has shut us down.
I think we need more in the first 11 that in turn will create depth.

Bowen and Kudos both get in our team. And so do quite a lot of players from other clubs.

A lot of our fans are blind to this and assume our players must be better because they play for Tottenham.

Lots of dominance but lacking spark around and in the box.

Something needs to change. We can't keep forgiving leads when we dominate the ball the way we do.
I know that xG is an unfashionable stat around these parts.

But we are 11th in xG this season.

I think that bears true in the games too.

The reason we're largely outperforming that stat is down to, mostly, Son's finishing and him outperforming his own xG by something like 90%.

Honestly, it feels like a shame to start criticizing Ange's in-game coaching when we've witnessed significant progress under his leadership.

Ange diligently observes every training session, and if a player doesn't perform there, he won't hesitate to keep them on the bench during a game. So, before daring to criticize him, let's acknowledge the meticulous approach he takes and trust his decisions for the benefit of the team.

Perhaps it's time for everyone to take a step back, relax, and appreciate the broader perspective he brings to the table.

Love the guy but for the life of me wen you need a goal do you take off our only creatine cm for Oliver skipp. He’s done it 3 times now how can you not Learn.
Not really what he did, he replaced Hojbjerg with Skipp and Lo Celso with Richarlison so no less attacking but no more either

Come on chaps, I've got the hump, and that game just wasn't good enough but considering the injuries and the weak squad he inherited we can't lose faith after a few bad results. Some of those losses we should have won, we should have won tonight but the front 3 and midfield failed to do their jobs, that's not on Ange, that is on them.

There's similar things happening here which also happened under Contes, early reign, not the football style, but both managers had very solid set ups and philosophies, both of which require very specific players for it to work. Our first 11 are brilliant, but as soon as you lose 1,2,3 first teamers we really struggle.

I'm backing Ange all the way, the philosophy is right, but he needs the players, mainly squad players to get everything ticking even when we have injuries and suspensions

Bowen for example would’ve likely scored the header Richy missed, then it’s a different game. Also Kudus might have scored from some of the positions which Johnson and Kulu etc got in.

I think it's pretty obvious a lot of our early dominance was down to Maddison being the best chance creator in the league. Now that he's out, Lo Celso is OK, but he's not anywhere near the level Maddison was playing at.

We're struggling to find new methods of creating chances without Maddison, which is very worrying.

Have we made significant progress? It feels like we’re seeing the same Spurs - dominating games, gifting goals to opposition and struggling to pick apart teams who defend deep.

I like Ange but this habit of throwing away leads is alarming.

To be honest, from our attacking players the only ones who I'd say I have real confidence in consistently producing are Son and Maddison. For me the rest need to up their levels. When one or both of them are out, think we a problem on our hands.

Kulu's energy and running can be massive in games but maintain he doesn't produce enough bearing in mind the amount of the ball he sees. Johnson still early days but was expecting more. Solomon/Gil......so far nothing to suggest they are anything more then squad fillers but maybe one/both of them can push on but still massive question marks over both. Richy...just doesn't suit us and is never going to be clinical.
