Funnily enough Craig Foster was interviewed live on SSN this morning around 8.30am and his praise of Postecoglou was effusive! He could not talk him up enough and said that we as Spurs fans have a lot to look forward to. What a change from way back then when he was actually asking AP to resign!

I know this isn’t a fresh take, but I can’t stress enough that I hope everyone (players, board and fans) give this time. It’s going to be an unsettling summer all round with transfers, new coaching team, potential new DOF etc. we can’t expect everything to have clicked by September.
I’m hoping to see green shoots by Xmas, then towards last third of the season real signs of what’s to come, hopefully with a cup run thrown in.
But if we take next season t snort ourselves out, the following season I really think we could fly. I’m not saying write off next season, I just think we have to manage expectations.
I’m buzzing to see how this appointment could transform our club, and just hope we back him entirely.

Just watched this on YouTube, was mildly informative, but could really have been a three minute video. He must have repeated himself about three times during that. Maybe that’s his Shtick though.

Anyway, my takeaway from that is that Lo Celso could be one to watch for one of the number 8 positions. I can see him working well in the so called half spaces between the lines.
No idea who the bloke is, just a tweet from the athletic.

I think Bentancur, if he recovers fully, played in that mezzala/double 8 role for Juve. You never know with Lo Celso, I feel he's just not for the Premiership. But someone like Maddison maybe (although I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Newcastle) with a motivated Bissouma in the 6? Could be effective.

Well now we finally have a new manager, and seemingly one that can unite that fanbase and be here for the long term, I can finally update my avatar!

In tribute to Big Ange, I will be forevermore represented by my two favourite Aussies of all time...

Angie, Aaaaangie
When will those clouds disappear?
Angie, Aaaaangie
Where will you lead us from here?
With no trophies on our shelf
And no dodgy oil wealth
You can’t say we're satisfied
But Angie, Aaaaangie
You can't say we never tried

We have seen enough of Lo Celso to know he's rubbish. One goal in 53 games from attacking midfield. The curled shots that are all 3 feet wide of the left post. We have to move on from him and the other players given ample opportunity but found wanting.

Exciting, bold appointment.

The appointment of Munn followed by the immediate appointment of Ange following the conclusion of Celtic’s season does suggest this may not be the Plan C being made out. I found it interesting our press release’s opening sentence hinted at this having been in the works for longer than has been made out (‘Now that the season and all domestic cup competitions have concluded, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as our new First Team Head Coach’).

Pep just made a joke about trying to score 1 goal away now Ange is in charge. Didn’t seem the reporters got it though

Welcome and good luck! I never thought I'd live to see a Greek manager in my favourite club. Hopefully he'll be the new Poch, but with a Greek twang in his speeches.

Maybe it points to the fact there was in fact a plan.
Like all Aussie Yids a very proud day.

Seems it is possible that a long term plan could have been rolled out. Ange contacted while we had Conte and the wheels were falling off. Then Scott Munn comes in from nowhere why ? Ange quits and contract signed in 24 hours with no Levy negotiations required.
Not complaining just a lot of good things falling into place for this to happen

And also the Australian tour this summer....

I think he needs a crack with a system that might suit him. We’ve written off 4 years. We don’t need to burn it all.
