I was disappointed he took Johnson off as he was having a good game. But it made considering the engine Deki has.

Showed complete class in the post match comments tonight and in contrast to Arteta, who whinged like a baby.....
The guy just oozes class and seems perfect for us. As fans we are all with him and the team and we've missed that in the last few years.
I'm not getting involved in any title chase or top 4 talk. At the start of the season I just wanted to see some good football and players to show they care.
That's happening so this season I'm just going to enjoy the ride.

I'm not sure if this is correct but my Celtic supporting mate says it's a nervous cough which he always has. Apparently he has said that he thinks it helps him sometimes, s he uses it to gather his thoughts when speaking to interviewers .

Yeah, we just needed something extra going forward. obviously with 9 men it was always going to be impossible (although we nearly made it 2-2)

Class post-match and I loved how we still went for it with nine and got so close. Said it a few times tonight, but I'm sure we learn from it and go again.
Might need a couple more pacy defenders in January though, as I reckon we win with nine men if VDV doesn't get injured and the lack of defensive pace killed us in the end.

Love him even more in defeat. Glad we have someone like him as a figurehead at our club. Great interview. Able to show his frustration but respectful and classy. What a guy

Now we have the right structure in place, I’m rather looking forward to seeing the players Ange brings in the winter window. Such a defined way of playing that requires specific skill sets. Big name prima Donna’s need not apply and for the first window in gods knows how long I won’t give a monkeys nuts whether I’ve heard of our signings or not.

The next few games are going to be the biggest test of his time here thus far. I honestly don’t know how he’s going to handle that back line.

Think we are in for a rough couple of months tbh. Even when Romero is back we’ve lost that pace that’s saved us so many times this season. VDV has been key to how we play. Can’t see any of our other options doing what he does. We’d be in better shape had anyone else been injured except him.
