Funny how we’d only dropped 2 points from a winning position until our squad was obliterated by injuries. And even 3 of those points since are because we had 9 men…

Almost like we were very dominant because we attacked teams until we had an unprecedented injury crisis.
Maddison has been just as key though. He's our key attacker since Kane left. It's a good job Kane stayed injury free the last couple of years we would have struggled as much. A lot is made of defence but I think losing Maddison made it so much worse. I would fancy more goals with him in the team.

I didn’t even know it but I have been waiting my whole life for this manager. What a guy.

Just came here to post this answer, got me really excited. We may get smacked by City. We may even lose a few more while we have injuries. But, to just have that belief in himself and have it be aligned with our club's history is a match made in heaven IMO. I really hope we can as club and supporters, stay positive through this tough period.

With a little luck we could still be in a decent position with 11 new signings coming back 🤣😂

Couldn't love him any more.

He is the perfect manager for us.

We need to all stay calm and strong the next few months until we get some of our big players back but also don't be surprised if even with all of these injuries etc we still put some top top performances in like we did against Villa when really we should've won that game about 5-1.

Love Ange.

As he says the top top teams have a plan A and they master it, believe in it and stick to it, City, Liverpool and now Arsenal, our only issue is the lack of squad depth and our injuries and suspensions, Ange showed before all this happened just how well his plan A works.

Wishful thinking, you’ll still have the bed wetters out in force if we lose a few more in December!

press conference

It might go unnoticed, but my favourite part of the press conference was around the 9:15 mark in the video. Journalist refers to himself as an idiot and Ange responds "Don't talk about yourself like that mate. You're asking some really intelligent questions, there's nothing wrong with that."

Not football related at all, but a sign of a good character.

Great to hear him putting such an emphasis on discipline, 'not just cards, but how focused we are in our approach', definitely an area we need to improve massively to return to the top table.

Interesting to hear him talk about his plans for bis and bents playing together in midfield, sounds like he was quite excited by the prospect (like most of us!)

I don't care if we lose ten on the bounce, it's not going to change my opinion that Ange is absolutely the guy to take Spurs forward. He's inspirational.

This is how I feel. I absolutely don't care how many we lose whilst all these players are out. I've seen how Ange has us playing when he more or less has the players he wants playing and that's more than enough for me.

Such a shame we’re so bloody weakened rn, could’ve been an absolute classic to watch, now I just fear the worst.

If he praises them you know he doesn’t fear them. We’ve beaten them so many times that he isn’t going to do that with us.
That's a thoroughly weird way of interpreting his comments. Firstly, Pep has complimented Ange previously (I'm paraphrasing but he said Yokohama was one of the best high presses he'd ever played against) and secondly, if you look at any manager's pre-match press conference, they pretty much always say nice things about their upcoming opponent.
