Unfortunately it's a case of they see what they wanna see. I know their focus will be the offside that never happened and the ref robbed them off the chance to win.

First half we were fortunate not to be 5-1 down. All their chances were from our own doing. Dribbling out of the box, trying too many passes in our own box. That's naivety but we got out of it unscathed at only 2-1. Then what he said at HT must have worked because we started playing with the same attitude of playing out of the back and trying to beat their press rather than go long and change approach but this time our passes were connecting. With our back up LB and RB as a CB pairing, two-thirds of our main midfield trio unavailable and a pretty inexperienced bench we did really well. Which is exciting because put those players back in and we'll see the style of play improve by a sheer upgrade in calibre but these back up players now being used are going to feel confident in their suitability. The understated impact of Ange is how unlike Mourinho and especially Conte he is not making his back up players feel like they are worthless to him.

I agree some need to be moved on as they don't necessarily suit the system or where we want to be, but they're not bad players. I hate how some just get thrown under the bus. If one of them lost the ball like Bissouma, they'd never hear the end of it. I have barely seen people mention Skipp's involvement in Kulu's goal and Hojbjerg came on did his job. Davies started the move for the second. Emerson did his best in an uncomfortable position against one of the best pressing sides around.

These players deserve more respect than being labelled as "dross".

Love this belief he's giving the squad, after years of having their confidence wrecked by the last three managers - particularly The Syrup.

The change in the way we play from last season is baffling. This means of course, there will be mistakes and also means it will sort out those that cannot play this way.

I was confident today at 3-2 down that we could get something from the game still. Even missing key players in Romero, VDV, Bentancur, Sarr and Maddison doesn’t change his steely attitude.

I am all in on the Ange train. He has already proved this season that we are excellent when key players are fit. Give him the tools and he will succeed.
