Ange Postecoglou's attacking football philosophy results in a huge number of one-on-one duels and take-on opportunities which ultimately raises the possibility of Spurs players being fouled by the opposition. No team have won more free-kicks this season than Spurs (224) and only Manchester City have drawn more yellow cards from the opposition than Postecoglou's side (48).

And yet, only one pen!

Wish he'd stop coughing. It worries me.
Apparently it's a nervous cough that happens when he is in front of cameras or something.

Might not be true but I read it a while ago and I always notice a cough in interviews now.

Could also be because he’s been a coach for so many years which involves a ton of shouting and talking so his vocal cords are worn out all the time.

Jose Mouriniho didn’t have a constant cough but he lost his voice a few times as our manager and said it was from years of coaching 🤷‍♂️

Ange had this cough from his first year at Celtic so either it’s a nervous type thing, his vocal chords are worn out or he’s about to keel over 😅 hopefully one of the first 2 options.

Or that his manly voice is so gruff and manly, that no throat can actually contain it whilst speaking in public...

Quite explicit again about hoping for January signings - letter to Santa 🎅 and all. Hopefully he gets what he's asking for!!

This. Have said it before. I myself tend to cough sometimes when stress out. And truth to be told, not many executives who are media-facing are outwardly extrovert despite being expressive and eloquent. So there will be body reaction/expression to take that anxiety off momentarily sometimes for some people.

I love the guy.
It's very rare to have a manager where there are no buts or ifs.

People criticised Levy when he interviewed Ten Hag and rumour had it that he wasn't impressed by the way he conveyed himself.

Once he interviewed Ange, I imagine the decison was an easy one. He comes across well and he demands respect.

When things are going well, it's all about the players, when things go wrong he takes responsibility. If I was part of the squad I'd run through walls for him.

There are no shortcuts, no indecision, just a straight line from where he is to where he wants to be.

More than anything his football philosophy is 100% spurs. He encapsulates to dare is to do.

I love to listen to him, I don't think I've enjoyed listening to a manager as much as him. Poch was confusing, Conte was always complaining, José was interesting but his footballing philosophy was anti spurs.
