You may be right, I wouldn’t be dismissive of your theory and it did occur to me this morning. This could be Ange’s only opportunity to manage Liverpool given his age and, to be fair to them, the job doesn’t come up as often as others.I couldn’t care less about ratings, but this kind of post is pathetic when someone has taken the time to put together a reasonable analysis. I’m not a mind reader but I’ve read Ange’s book, I watched everything there was to see on YouTube prior to his appointment and I’ve read most of his interviews so I’m actually basing my opinion on something other than blind optimism or popularity points. Judging by the way he’s managed his career, and if I put myself in Ange’s shoes, I think he’d go if the opportunity is there for him.
However, I do believe he’ll stay. He’s here less than a year and seems a man of integrity.
That said, none of us has a clue what these guys are thinking.
