As soon as we finally get a world class DofF and Manager combo it turns out the DofF could be corrupt, you couldn't make it up honestly.

I think concerns are that Paraciti was involved, so even though not us as a club he could potentially be in trouble, which could affect us.

Both in terms of he is leading our transfer strategy and is the buffer for Conte.

Yea its all pretty concerning tbh.

They raided Juve and are investigating a lot of deals, I'm no expert but i'm assuming likely scenarios:

• Best case: fine to Juve and Paratici and others involved
• Middle case : fine + reprimands to Juve but Paratici banned from transfer involvement moving forwards
• Worst case : Matt Doherty becomes club captain .... joking. Worst case would be issue with Romero deal and sanctions for our club and Paratici banned from transfers and possible arrested.

Its never dull with Spurs is it. ffs.

Time to have a conversation about the signings he made in the summer. Emerson is useless, Gil is a talent but is clearly not ready for the English game, Gollini is dreadful. Romero was a good signing, but we didn’t sign a striker, somethjng we really needed to do.

Emerson is very raw, but he's only 22 and in a new country give the kid a break. Gollini has been dreadful.

Emerson is not ‘useless’ he’s just not a RWB. He’s very solid defender and he’s only 22.

Gil I’ve not been impressed with but he’s very young and raw so was one for the future.

Gollini has looked crap and hopefully we don’t take up the option to buy him

Nuno wanted Traore, Royal and Traore would combine well probably in Nuno's system (if he wasn't burned out from football and had energy still). Thought Gil was a terrible fit for Conte but he looks ok whenever he plays, Romero is top CB, Gollini horrible. Main thing was getting rid of some players and lowering our wage bill, and he has done that. You can't do it all in one transfer window.
