Anyone else notice that Lucas seems to be playing the Alli position from the 16/17 season where he was a second striker off of Kane. Poch seems to be using him there and Dele a bit from the left.

On a different point, when Dele came inside more after half time it really caused them problems as Man Utd didn’t know who to pick up. A really good change from Poch at the break.

I think Alli as been great so far this season. Just looks a lot fitter and sharper than last season. Seems to have cut the amount of silly flicks he tries and plays the simple pass instead. The ones he is trying are coming of the moment too which helps.

Really we should have had two penalties.

One on Moura in the first half, and one on Dele in the second when he stayed on his feet after being clipped by De Gea. I get that he stayed up and got the shot away, but the clip from De Gea meant the chance was gone. Should have gone down.

I know we are all really over the moon with Lucas (as we should be). However Kane really deserves massive praise for his header. You couldn’t have placed it better if you were able to throw it in.

Was a quality header, against the supposed best 'keeper in the league.

I think his all round play has been a lot better, I just wish he was a bit more instinctive in front of goal. He was twice in excellent positions and, at his clincial best, he'd have slipped in Kane for the first and taken the shot with his left after rounding the keeper for the second. He kept overthinking and overplaying and it could've cost us.

It was Trippier's corner that Kane scored from, mate.
I think our set piece stats will notably improve this season with Trips favoured for corners and taking some free kicks. We've been shite at them for a few years yet this season we've already scored 2 goals from corners and a direct free kick. Eriksen so often tried to pick out Dier for his trademark near post header and I can't remember the last time it actually worked. It's such a precise spot to aim at and god knows how many times he underhit it and the corner was wasted. Trippier seems a lot more reliable and capable of putting the ball in different areas from corners and I think we'll reap the rewards.

Anyone catch the big fuck faced Sam on the Brazil show this morning? Since 6am he's basically saying how fluky, undeserved we were to win, and keeps repeating how many more shots United had than us, more possession etc. I know he's always had a massive downer about us but it really is quite unbelievable the landfill of shit spewing out from his deformed fat face this morning.

Absolutely shocking as a pundit on the radio. He sounds like he’s eating a pie whilst talking and saying “Do you know what I mean?” every sentence. That said, he laid into Jonesy and Smallsy which was nice.

Weird people are discussing what Sam Allardyce thinks and getting wound up - why would you expect him to talk intelligently?

Thought the analysis on MNF esp from Carragher was v fair and reasonable - and made the point that Utd played well, gave it their best and still got beaten 3-0 and kept reiterating that we didn’t sign anyone either

That's not what I heard but I didn't start listening till about 8AM. I didn't hear anything 'downer' about us.

That's how he talks mate. Spoke to him on the telephone about 4 years back and it struck me he has the same boring way of speaking, I refute that its/hes 'intelligent'. Couldn't listen to a speech of his though.

Admittedly, I did not see the first half, but it sounds like United played well but weren't very sharp in the first half, while we were similar in the second half but much more ruthless. In other words, they were stereotypical Spurs, while we were stereotypical United, if you will. Amazed at the change in mentality that Poch has effected in his time here.

I'm watching the Sky re-run which is on at the moment - just coming up to half time.

My heartbeat is nice and smooth.

And Martin Tyler is still a dugong.

It's not just beating United at Old Trafford. It's not just beating them well. It's about laughing in the face of every little shit who spent the last couple of years thinking Poch, Kane, Moura, Rose, Alderweireld and probably more that I've forgotten would be better off being at United. Fuck 'em all. United, West Ham, Liverpool.

Totally agree - yet he'd have been villified by every one if he went down.
