To move off BMW , after this result I hope our bollox aren't too heavy when we arrive in Watford.
Because that's gonna be so different, and strangely if we don't play better, especially in the first half it could be a defeat.
Which would undo all this , and we need that momentum for that Salah team

Anyone catch the big fuck faced Sam on the Brazil show this morning? Since 6am he's basically saying how fluky, undeserved we were to win, and keeps repeating how many more shots United had than us, more possession etc. I know he's always had a massive downer about us but it really is quite unbelievable the landfill of shit spewing out from his deformed fat face this morning.

But, but, but, how do you really, really feel about him? ;)

"Skilful enough" is not, um, skilful enough for the level at which he's being expected to play. Lukaku has excellent pace and world-class strength. He can finish. He excels at holding the ball up. But his skill, movement and vision, while they are are OK, are not up to an elite level.

I haven't seen enough of Mitrovic, so let's compare to Harry Kane, whose strength is close to Lukaku's, after years of strength training to compensate for him not being a 6'-4" brick shithouse like Romelu. His pace is slightly better than average, again after years of hard work to overcome natural physical limitations - he was painfully slow at 18. But his finishing ability, ball control, hold-up ability and especially his movement and vision of the game are world-class. That's why he's a better all-round striker, as well as being a more prolific goal-scorer.

I don't think Lukaku is a bottler. He stepped up, when played out of position, late last season when Man Utd really needed it, and put on a master-class of hold-up play and teamwork. But he doesn't see the game like Kane and I don't think he has the same work ethic. Lukaku's movement in and around the box is relatively pedestrian and it's easy to see that Kane spends twice the time on the training ground practicing his finishing.
Any part of Lukaku’s game described as WC is just a plainly wrong. He may be strong but his general hold up play is not that great, he may have decent acceleration but rarely can use it in the turn where it is so effective. His first touch is akin to BTKs. His conversion rate against anyone who can defend is atrocious. He is just a bang average PL striker in all honesty, any comparison to Kane is laughable.

Lakaku, Pogba and Sanchez all suffer from the same affliction. They all believe they Are great players and therefore people should play to their strengths rather than actually wanting to be part of a team. In the French team, they can afford to set up to make Pogba effective at Utd they can’t, same as they can’t for the other pair of shithouses. I have 0 sympathy for Utd as they have just tried to buy the league with what they believe are stars without any consideration to team building

Lukakau is technically quite poor. His key strength is powerful running onto balls played into channels, physically bullying defenders once at full pace and scoring from those chances. He is not that great in the air for a big man, and is pretty poor at hold up play or movement when the ball is being played to feet. To get the best from him United need to play on the counter with more direct passes. Which is what United did under Mourinho at the start and thus why he was initially successful. But to play as a focal point for intelligent / cultured players like Mata, Lingard, Sanchez, Martial etc. his game is too weak to him to be an asset. Quite simply Everton was his level and he’s not a top 4 striker.

Do you guys see a non BMW driver not indicate and get angry? My usual muttering is "oh, so only WE have to indicate there then do we, eh?"

Just listened to Allardyce's laughable defending of Mourinho on TalkSport yesterday. He barely gave us any credit for our win and seems to be obsessed with stats as though they were more decisive than the three goals we scored without reply. Unfortunately it's David Seaman this morning and all I have heard is some muttering about how we weren't much better in the second half. Apart from that, everything is about united. I hate being one of 'those' fans who moan about media coverage of their team but it has predictably been far more about the demise of united than our good result. I don't think that I've even heard a pundit mention it being our first victory at OT in years.

Man Utd have been a bigger and more popular draw than us for as long as I can remember and beyond, so naturally a venue that relies on public participation is going to focus on the numbers.

Media of any kind is about working the numbers...

This...I used to let it wind me up but these are businesses that are under no obligation to be unbiased.
Even BBC Sport, that should be unbiased, still have to produce the numbers to justify their existence.

They all are such gullible idiots. They buy mourinho’s deflection away from his shit tactics, inability to react to poch’s changes, his poor substitutions to talking about him walking out his press conference. They fall for it every time. He only did that to deflect away from his inadequacies and prevent the media talking about us and our performance.

They lap it up and unfortunately so do a lot of fans. Probably 90% of their idiotic audience.

There you go we have a different opinion, I fell out with him after he left the club and started slagging us off, I find him a bit of a Billy big bollocks.
What, personally?

And do you forget Burkinshaw's "there used to be a football club over there?" parting shot?

Stop listening to Talk sport if you don't want to get wound up so easily.
I like listening to talksport generally. I'm not going to stop listening just because some of the coverage is frustrating.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, we're not on the same planet as United in terms of global presence and they are a far more successful club and clearly that's going to be reflected in media coverage - I think that I probably just got a bit irritated at Allardyce's defending of Mourinho/dismissive tone towards our part in the result.

It's not our first win in 10 years.
It's our 3rd in 7 years.

Who else has won 3 of their last 7 there?
And if they have, are they also constantly told their record there is spectacularly bad?
I don't remember posting that what was the context?
