Going positive on this game. Feel we’re the middle weight to Manx welter weight.

Im not up to date on Sons injury and thought it was a groin strain or hamstring so was under the impression he wont be back till after the break.

i cant imagine this is a mind game from Jose and that Son is actually fit - do we think he will play or just perhaps bench? im thinking bench if anything

He said in the interview after Thursdays game that he doesn't think son will be fit to play but that sonny was trying to be fit for the team and maybe he can surprise us.

I see - him being fit would be incredible as i dont think manures defence can handle pace. I suspect even if he is fit he will be on the bench, dont think jose would take risks

Starting or on the bench it'll be a huge lift to have him as an option. He'll only start if he thinks he's fit enough to which is great news if so and if not, sonny off the bench for the last 20 mins to run at them will be a fantastic option to have if we're not 5-0 up by that point ?

Manchester Evening News reporting this is our confirmed traveling squad [which is over 18 players]:
Confirmed Spurs squad members: Hugo Lloris, Joe Hart, Paulo Gazzaniga, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Matt Doherty, Ben Davies, Sergio Reguilon, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele, Gedson Fernandes, Moussa Sissoko, Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Carlos Vinicius, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min, Harry Kane

So it appears Lo Celso is injured. :(

That is a real blow, dented my optimism.

Injuries to key players never seem to stop for us.

I see Utd getting an early VAR decision that messes us up for the rest of the game

Away at Old Trafford without the crowd may actually help us. Should be far less intimidating. Honestly it could go either way. Expecting a few goals and penalties.

I’m not that worried about Gio. With how Ndombele has been playing he is a more than capable deputy, Jose was never going to play both of them. Really hope Son starts though, I really don’t feel Lucas/Lamela offer enough goal threat between them. I’m not hugely confident all things considered, we have a bit of momentum but United have fantastic players and have been excellent against the top 6 under Solsjkaer, particularly at home. We also haven’t performed well in big games under Jose in my opinion. To get something it’s all about blocking space in central areas well, preventing Bruno from picking the ball up in half spaces and being clinical in transition. On paper we are more than capable of a result but I don’t have that confidence in us yet.

massive game for Tanguy, point to prove up against his France teammate Pogba and no Lo Celso so its crucial for us he plays well

No crowd there will be a huge help...level playing field in that respect.
