Love that Lamela gets a start after his last few efforts.
A little worried we’ve gone with Sissoko and Aurier.
GLC a big miss for me also. He has begun hugely influential.
I guess this is what we have to expect though, whilst we try and juggle a game every 2 or 3 days
I really like that front 3 if we had Gio instead of Sissoko I would be really pleased with the team.

I expect Sissoko and PEH to play deeper allowing Reguilon and Aurier to bomb forward. We really need to get ahead 2-0 early (first 30 minutes). United are a team that will crumble if we pile on right away but if it stays close, they seem to always catch a fucking break.

I think I'd rather have gone with Winks over Sissoko. Otherwise, that is a good line up - hoping that we don't get too stretched down the left if Sonny doesn't put a shift in tracking back. COYS

Aurier----Sanchez--Dier----Reggie
-------------Sissoko--Hojberg----------
----Lamela-----dombele-----Son-----
------------------------Kane-------------------

Looks to be we will use both erik and dombele to tee up both son and kane. Big game for dombele and i think this position will suit him well with moussa and Pierre doing most of the hard graft. Please reggie is playing as he is a very pacey willing runner.
I worry a little at cb. Sanchez and dier both have a mistake in them....especially in these kind of conditions.

Side looks a bit dodgy to me with plenty of potential to give away Pen's, but we'll see!

In my view, the bigger risk is the Dier-Sanchez pairing. I hope I'm wrong.

Sissoko will do his job today, which is NOT to make lovely little touches but to completely disrupt and then turn back upfield.

Anyone think Jose will park the bus and trying hitting them on the counter instead of using fullbacks going forward? I can see Jose getting joy out of making the game dull and us winning 1-0 or 2-1.

Looking at pressing stats, we are top 4 in the league in pressuring the opponent in their own half. Changing to sit back would be the opposite of how we have played most of the year.

This selection is set-up to allow Ndombele to take centre stage.

Fill your boots, son. Your time to shine is now.

Looking at it again he seems to have picked an aggressive team. Unsettling them must be his plan.

Nice to see that Son is back. And right decision to let Lamela start. Aurier might give us more speed than Doherty, and together with Reguilon it might work out great. But, just a quick question: Where do media get the info on what systems and formations the teams will use? 4-3-3? I don’t find that information on Tottenhams official site and twitter etc..?

Never feel confident about playing Utd, too many years of Sir Alex I guess.

Regardless of today, I think the team have done amazingly well over a really busy start to the season so hopefully can top that off today.

Any idea where we can see these stats mate?

I dont think it was a con, just not as bad as it was first made out.
People had him out for a few months before the game ended, when noone would know by then
It also ensured that he wouldn't have to join the South Korean squad. Perhaps we're becoming a little more streetwise, particularly now Sonny's got no National Service worries!

Let’s assume we’re 1-0 down to VAR Utd before we start, think our team has two goals in them so fancy a win, 2-1 us...
