The blame should lie solely at FIFAs door and if i was a player being interviewed after the match i'd probably get a ban for calling out those muppets at FIFA for the lack of technology.

We shouldn't be calling for Atkinson to be sacked, we should be calling for change at FIFA.

Disagree GoldstarYid - the ref was at fault. Could he be sure that the whole ball was over the line - obviouslyt not, but he allowed the goal. Just before their 3rd, cahill leant in on a ball and handled in the box - ref had a great view but bottled the decision. Ref bottled sending off mikel. i think the ref can and should be blamed and should be asked to defend his decision cos it was a shocking performance overall

It is time someone looked into Abramovich.

He is indirectly implicated in match fixing in Russia (where it is widespread), and this game has a horrible whiff of the same.

Mikel not carded in the first half for TWO high studs up challenges, one after the other, only a yellow for kicking Parker, the foul on Lennon in the area etc.

As for the goal, the ref COULD NOT call it, there is no way he was he 100% sure it was in. Maybe the roubles he was dreaming of rolling around naked in put him off.

This is also added to the City result yesterday, Norwich, rolled over, simple as.

Since the Oil money has come into the PL there have been far too many dodgy decisions going for these teams.

I have not felt so let down by football in such a long time.

I do understand but it's touching on conspiracy with things like that(although given the decisions we have had go against us this year that's maybe not to far off the truth). However i feel FIFA get off lightly because people just jump at the ref, with technology it doesn't matter if a ref fucks up or is biased because we can prove them wrong.

I want to be angry about it but I feel that we shouldnt be trying to use this as an excuse or wondering what could of been or even debating it really, I'd rather the spotlight should firmly be on the useless shower (the players and management) we have that are under-performing for us right now.
