Would love to see him as our Manager. Hope Danny is watching Spain vs Italy 'cos Martinez is tactically astute and intelligently eloquent in his summing up of the play. IMHO would do very well at a top four/six club. Wish it was ours. That's all.

He's a like-able guy, I'd be a bit concerned that's why everyone rates him so highly... But personally I wouldn't have a problem with him getting the job.

For me its too risky, what has he REALLY done at Wigan? Top top bloke, just a really big risk for me at the moment when you'd have to overlook someone like Moyes to go for him.

Did anyone see that manager on BBC yesterday, can't remember his name.

Anyway, I think he'd do a wonderful job taking over a team at the bottom of the table.

Probably save them from relegation, finish eight, then push on and get them playing decent football, a couple of fourth places, Champions League quarter final.

Wonder what he'll be up to next season.

I don't think any side would appreciate a manager like that.

Is it embarrassing that I spent 3 minutes trying to figure out who that manager was... :(

The same bloke who has stripped a squad to his bare bones due to poor man management; and who signs ageing players to cover the short term whilst he flirts with his national team job?

The same poor man management that will cause players to leave if he goes? Yeah. All that selling that he does. (He has nothing to do with that as an FYI).

I think Martinez talks a lot of waffle. I think his teams play a lot of waffle.

I would rather retain Redknapp than employ Martinez.

If your missus cooks you a shit dinner one night do you beat her or want to kick her out for it?

Or....do you realise that in the last 3 years she's actually cooked you a decent few dinners and isn't actually all that bad?
