Gonna go for Skippy as he was everywhere today, from the first to the last minute. Always involved in everything.
Special mentions to the entire back five, Reggie and Emerson especially.
Plus Lucas for the effort and quality he brought today.

Really tough to pick one performance from that.

Lucas was my man of the match.

I criticised Emerson earlier in the match thread saying he was terrible offensively. I thought he was very good in an attacking sense today. He crossed, took one or two on and linked well.

Lucas and Skipp for me, back 5 did little wrong, but had little to do. Lucas scored and created , Skipp industries , covered every blade of grass.

I am taking lots of positives from this.
We won. Too many times we have messed up against lesser teams or 10 men
We managed to sub off three important players to conserve enrgy.
No-one was poor.
Most were very good or excellent

Lucas for me, but Skipp and Hojbjerg give us the platform to play three attackers, which is key.

Hugo - 7 (not sure if he dove all match, happy birthday, absolutely a club legend and probably best keeper we’ve ever had)
Emerson - 7.5 (two great passes for the first two; I don’t think he’s all that gifted on the ball or positionally but he was competent in all phases vs Zaha and their lightning bolt of a LB)
Davo- 7.5 (would have been 8.5 if he had scored his chance, well played)
Dier- 7 (he was OK but for a ball playing CB playing in the center of the 3, his passing is just not good enough)
Tanganga -7 (meh, growing a little disheartened with his potential)
Regi - 7.5 (he deserves at least a goal today, lost his head at those two chances, lol)
Skipp - 8.5 (everywhere)
PEH - 8 (everywhere but to a lesser extent. I think these two need creative help though)
Kane - 8 (great finish, good to get him some rest as well)
Lucas - 9 (this game epitomized Good Lucas. Electric on the break, played with energy and intent, not selfish, and absolutely perfect end product)
Sonny - 8 (love him to bits)

Went for Lucas that header over their big CB was crazy but Skipp running him close. My god Skipp is consistent.
