Dier- 7 (he was OK but for a ball playing CB playing in the center of the 3, his passing is just not good enough)
His passing has been superb (other than that howler against West Ham midweek) since Conte came in. Today was just an off-day, imo

I’m giving it to Sanchez just for getting one of my most hated players sent off
Zaha what a !!!!

For some reason, the last four words of your post didn't come out, but I know you must have typed '"..horrible bug eyed goon' and you effectively saved me from saying so myself. ;)

Lucas won us the game and zaha lost it for them.

We are so dangerous now with Lucas and our two wing backs.

Skipp has been such a good player for us this season, just made that position his own.

On Emerson, good game today and steadily improving, a young player recently signed from abroad is difficult, but he is settling in well. Nowhere near the finished article but good potential.

One other player to single out is reguillon, his work rate both defensively and offensively is immense, not looked at the stats but I imagine he is near the top for running. He just seems like he's always a threat, he was made to be a wb imo. By the end of the season I expect him to be one of our most of important players. A couple of months ago I would have him as a sell. Conte (and his new position) has transformed him.

What has been so noticeable for me, is that the pace of our game has picked up so much since Conte arrived. The persistent sideways and backwards passing inside our own half with our players being under no pressure, which used to infuriate me so much has thankfully now been virtually eliminated (hopefully never to return) and the feeling that the intensity and belief in getting the ball forward at every opportunity has risen so dramatically is very welcome.

PS... It's absolutely vital that we take full advantage of our games in hand over our main rivals. That 4th place is very much up for grabs!

Agreed, one of the most important things for me is the long diagonals, switching the play.

We haven't been doing this enough over the last 10 years. We had Toby and Huddlestone doing it in the past but now it seems like a tactic we work on. So vital for our attacking play and by having Emerson and reguillon hugging the touchlines it means we can attack quicker. Not the laborious slow passing build up with Nuno and José.

What I saw from reguillon and Emerson today was a will to attack and get crosses in early. So many times in the past we get into that position and we pass backwards (it was infuriating).

Now we seem to attack from all sides, no suprise we are creating more chances.

Continuing to see improvements all over the place. Emerson and Reggie no doubt feeling a bit of heat from sessegnon and Doherty now. Kane looks like he gives a fuck now. Dier looking steady and assured although he didn't have much to do today. Good game from Sanchez and Tanganga. Skipp starting to boss it and Sonny back on the score sheet. My MOM is the much maligned Lucas Moura. His pace over the first few yards must be frightening toplay against and he threw himself at that header. Conte is doing a great job.

Well, that was arousing.

Not - first time with a new girlfriend arousing - more - your Mrs of ten years giving you the wink and heads to the bedroom arousing.

That being said, it's clear the fullbacks are becoming a pivotal part of our attacking phase. The way we turned Palaces defenders with cutting passes from one side of the pitch to the other felt a little like a nice tickle of one's balls. What's also beautiful to see, is that this particular tactic is starting to bare fruit. Regi and Emerson today seemed to really be enjoying themselves, and this translated into their performances. More of this please.

Skipp is fast becoming one of my favourite players. Yes, yes, he's one of our own and all that. But he can't seriously think he can do all the dirty work whilst glancing at me with that boyish smile and not expect me to let my imagination run wild. I'm not mad about it.

Hugo, my sweet prince. Sometimes I think he was sent to me by the gods. But which one you may ask? Well, the god of love perhaps. No, maybe not. Thats part of it. But watching him over the years has been like being struck repeatedly by the god of pleasure, over and over again. I wouldn't trade him for a night with Margot Robbie.

Kane, you prick. You've jerked my heart around too much. And what's even worse, I've started to let you get a little grip on my old ticker again. When you clipped that ball into the back of the net I asked myself "oh Harry, am I gonna let you seduce me again? Am I not wise enough to not let you play with my heart?" Time will tell.

Son and Lucas are a nice exotic cocktail I've not yet gotten sick of. Sometimes my friends ask me what flavour it is and I'm yet to figure it out for myself. Sometimes it's more potent than others. But either way, it usually gets me drunk.

And Conte. You gloriously emotive, slick haired devil, you. When you celebrate, I can't help but wish it was me you were jumping all over. And I know you do too. There's something there between you and I. And every weekend it's becoming stronger. As if I'm letting myself believe in love again after a few tumultuous relationships. No, you'd never do that to me. You're the one.

All in all, this was lovely. I used to think I wouldn't mind us signing Zaha, I thought he had something. But now I just think he's a sook who likes to be a big fish in a small pond. Well, not my pond bucko.

Excellent all round performance no failures today but gave it to Lucas as that header brought back memories of he great t and peeless Cliff Jones who would score four or five headers a season like that and he was the same height as Lucas both so brave . Well payed Lucas.

Starting to remind me of those days under Poch when most of the team had a claim for motm each week.

I give it to Emerson and Lucas jointly - Emerson is 22, just arrived in England and is really putting in the effort to improve, Lucas just had a great game.

No one had a poor game. Sadly Ndombele's days look numbered at the club.

We've been warned by fans of previous Conte clubs..' Don't fall in love , because you'll only end up with a broken heart when he walks out for a new lover' ...Resist....must..resist..

While I agree he'll probably not be here in just over two years time~
enjoy it while we have him, but don't think too far ahead
