Such a mood changing game!
Kane, brilliant. Stevie, what an impact and pleased for Doherty - definitely should play Sunday ahead of Emerson. This is a system that suits him but on the right rather than the left.
The celebrations showed Conte has got a great team mentality going - need to build now. COYS

I had to give it to Harry, he played striker, CM and CAM at various times, he did what he had to do, he never stopped running his arse off for 97 minutes.

He also highlighted the fact that we are desperately in need of creativity in our midfield.

Lloris - 7 - One great save made up for going to ground a little early on their first goal.
Royal - 5 - He simply looks out of sorts offensively. Would like to see him tried at RCB instead of Tanganga as defensively he is sound, and he is far superior in possession than Tanganga.
Tanganga - 5 - He does not look good enough for this level. Either defensively or in possession. Not writing him off, but he needs a decent loan to build up some consistency and experience.
Sanchez - 7 - He has been really good under Conte. Never the best on the ball, but a defender we can rely on. He is now first choice backup when everyone is fit.
Davies - 7 - Another fairly steady Eddie performance.
Reguilon - 7 - Very good first half (7.5), but also fairly anonymous second (6). I think he is too easily shut down when other teams get men behind the ball and he needs to improve.
Skipp - 8 - A major reason we dominated Leicester's supposedly superior middle 3. Looked much better than Tielemans.
Højbjerg - 8 - Some really nice passing - put reg in behind with a great ball, ditto for Doherty that led to the 2nd equaliser.
Winks - 7 - Great pass for Kane's goal. Another that was better first half than second.
Moura - 7 - Never really got into it, and playing up top in a two is not his best position.
Kane - 9 - Back to his world class best. Looked fit, strong, quick (well, against their CBs!). Great passing. Great goal. Unlucky not to have a couple more. Missing the 1-on-1 was the only thing that stopped him scoring higher.

Doherty - 8 - Credit where credit is due - he was very good. He did what he does best, pass the ball into a forwards feet and follow his pass with an aggressive diagonal run, and kept running off the ball until he reached the goal. That can cause mayhem for opponent defences and one of his diagonal runs led to Bergwijn's goal. Still remains very average in the other 2/3s of the pitch, but I'd like to see him get a run at RWB (at least until we sign a better one than Royal).
Bergwijn - 10 - Not sure what more he coudl have done, short of run up to Soyuncu after the winner and laughed in his face.
Lo Celso - 6 - Did not really affect the game and lost possession quite a lot.

Conte - 9 - It is as if he can turn water into wine. God knows how drunk we can all get if Levy actually buys him some good wine. Unbeaten in 9 league games since he joined, and now in the box seat for top 4 with all the games in hand we have. He seriously needs backing this window to give him a decent chance of achieving the unthinkable when he took over.

How come this opinion is so widely held? Did I miss something he did?
I remember a couple of years back, there were rumours going round that apparently he'd be a bit of a dick whilst on nights out with pals. Telling people in nightclubs that his shoes were worth more than people's whole outfits.

I don't know if those rumours were ever proved true, but it's one of those things that has stuck with me since.

stevie will get the plaudits and rightly so, but kane was awesome as well, great finish and stunning ball for the winner
So was Doherty, without him I dont see us being half as dangerous going forward

It was good performance all-round which is why at 2-1 in the 95th minute (I still can't believe that was the score in the 95th minute), I was seething. I've gotten used to defeats where we've been shit, but to play well and lose in such a manner was really irritating. Enter Stevie B at that point of course and the rest is literally history.

Sanchez played well I thought, but he always has one or two moments where he's responsible for the opposition breaking through. He was improved vastly under Conte already however so credit there, to both of them.

Kane was Kane again. Such a wonderful thing to see him so pumped and passionate at the end too. I'm sure he went home and made another child, such was his excitement. There's no way he left that boner go to waste.

Bergwijn was very good, not just with the goals. He actually looks so good with his back to goal, he looks like a striker. I think that's his future position you know. The goals were very well taken.

Special mention for Doherty - he's been fucking shocking, let's face it. But last night he came on and made a really positive impact on the game. He was positive going forward, played a few good crosses and was very energetic. Doesn't bode well for Royal that Doherty is now ahead of him in the pecking order and whoever scouted him and said "yep, he'll do" should really turn it in.

Hojbjerg was also excellent in the final part of the game. That block kept us in it, where did he come from? The pass to Doherty for the equaliser and he intercepted the ball after the restart.

Credit to the team as well for not celebrating the equaliser. With 15 seconds left they actually believed they could get a 3rd and rushed to recover the ball for a quick restart! Remarkably, they were fucking right!

What a game...fantastic for us . I have to disagree with fellow Scers and stay calm about Bergie (8) . The first goal , the ball fell to him and he blasted it in good , but not sensational . Second goal he dribbled a bit wide of the keeper but then made a lovely shot behind the defenders on the line .
...and that's it . Its on this basis that everyone has decided he should stay with us and is our future !

One swallow does not make a summer . Be great if Bergie's form suddenly exploded ofc . Conte was calm and said Bergie could be good as a starter or from the bench ie a squad player .

Kane (9) MoM , he's been back a few matches now , but this is the best of his performances from this revival
Sanchez (7) I thought did pretty well , Doherty (7) a surprise, good stuff . Skipp (7) added good passing to his other qualities ,great potential

A surprise to see us on the front foot away so credit to Conte

We were told that Conte improves players. Winks. Doherty. Dier. Davies. Sanchez.

Now add Bergwijn. What was it, 18 months of the yips in front of goal? Plenty of responsible team play, but apparently an allergy to making a difference in a football match.

Two or three weeks ago, Conte said he could see Bergwijn as a central striker. Oh how people guffawed.

Oh.

It would be interesting to see what Conte could do with Adama Traore.
How much do we think Conte publicly coming out and saying he believed Bergwijn was basically a CF and a goalscorer, has positively affected his confidence in front of goal?

Bergwijn will get the headlines and deservedly so, but want to give a shout out two Hojbjerg and Skipp who were outstanding in midfield. Hojbjerg in particular gave a complete performance - without his goal saving tackle right at the end or his superb through ball to Doherty then we'd have lost the game.

For the first time in a long time I'd give the majority a 7/10 or above, including Conte who could have easily just stuck with what he'd seen in the first half given that we'd had far more chances and possession, but instead took off Royal for Doherty as he knew we needed more on the right hand side. Royal aside, and I guess Lucas was a little off his game, I thought everyone else was very impressive.

We actually outpassed a Brendan Rodgers side away from home. Even putting the result aside that's impressive.

The one player missing from your list that I really hope finds a way there is Lo Celso. We know there is a player somewhere in there but have not seen it under Conte so far. If he can unlock that somehow then we'll be in great shape

I thought Sanchez had a good game, how he positions himself has changed before he use to get tangled up on the turn when he was tracking a player now he seems to be sitting off a bit and shuffling his feet differently hard to explain just something I noticed over a couple of games
