Is it me or have Sky not bothered interviewing any of the players or managers from our game?

On SSN they said they’d be on there just after 4pm. They still haven’t materialised. Managed to talk about the next game for most of the last 20 minutes instead.

Much better from us today. Ndombele is beginning to blossom in the PL. it’s great to see. Fair play to him for turning it around. We look a much better side with Reguilon (though not sure how everyone seem to miss his tackle which looked a red?)and Bergwijn in the side. They bring much needed energy. The goals will come for stevie B. His performances deserve it.

Still think we are a transfer window short of competing for the title. Although better Defensively we just seem a little brittle mentally and mistakes are costing us points. Just need some authority in there. Top 4 is more likely, though will be difficult.

Its the 2nd one.

I dont know whether youre being serious or not, but we did NOT play well, we still conceded possession easily and never looked assured on the ball.

A win doesnt mean we set up correctly, but a lot of us in here go blind whenever we win.

The difference is the quality of the opposition.
Really? We had 58% possession, we played well. Even when they were really, really bad they weren't destroyed by other top6 clubs apart from 4-1 against Chelsea...

1. I dont care thet Dele isn't in the squad. He's been average at best for more than 2 years.

2. Im actually happy with this line up. I think we can be more dominant in possession with 3 cb's as the wing backs have far more license to attack and build play.

3. Happy to see PEH and Ndom together in the middle

Everyone has opinions but im happy with the line up. And based on that I think we will put on a good display and win.

Come on boys!!!

Went as I thought. Thought we were good, looked so much better in transition and when attacking. Rodon was excellent, Ndom was top quality. Big shout out to Bergwijn who I also thought was quality.

@Mattspurs1982 since you rated my post above optimistic, interested to know what you thought? I don't mean that as I'm right your wrong. Just interested as you clearly thought it was optimistic for us to play well and win. Which we did.

Really good win today but starting to get really frustrated with Dier always caught in no mans land. How many headers have we conceded lately because his positioning is all wrong. Rodon looks a fantastic prospect though.
Think this is one of those instinct things. If you've played CB all your life, you just naturally get into the right place to defend a cross. Its bread and butter. Dier has spent most of his football life playing CM and just takes a second longer for him to understand where to be, and at this level it costs goals. TBF, I think he's made a decent fist of converting in most areas.

That was much more like it, a better performance all round, it could have been a case of here we go again after Sheffield United pulled back a goal but oh my, what a sublime finish from Ndombele for the 3rd which also settled any nerves that could have crept back in.

wonder how long before Dier’s place is under threat. Like to to see Toby and Rodon but guess the latter is the replacement for the former
Given 1) Dier has been our best defender this year and 2) 3 at the back and pushing the wing backs on actually suited us today so we may see more of, a while I should think

I'm sure plenty will focus on the two-minute spell that resulted in conceding a goal...while overlooking that we had been pushing for a third goal and should have been awarded a penalty moments before.

Neon Knight says the above. The next post, the very next post:

A lacklustre game despite the win. 3 positives in the way Rodon, Reguillon and NDom played. The goal was lost exactly like the one lost to Fulham. Dier having no idea where the ball was. He just jumped and the ball was behind him.
